My performance hasn't been all that great these past few seasons. The truth is, I've been playing Wild for about five seasons now, since Chaos was released in Modern Ranked, because it's the only set I really know how to play, with a few exceptions because I have cards from the Rebellion set.
One of the main disadvantages of Wild is that the SPS and GLINT rewards are quite low, unlike Modern Ranked, where I've earned a considerable amount of SPS that actually made it worthwhile to play.

Since I started playing Wild, I haven't managed to accumulate more than 1,500 SPS, which is very low considering how many seasons it took me to achieve it. In comparison, during my first three months in Modern mode, I managed to obtain approximately 5,000 SPS.
Also, keep in mind that a large part of that 1500 SPS in Wild comes from rewards earned by participating in Tier 4 Guild Brawls.

On average, I've spent about 7,000 DEC per season: 5,000 for card rentals and an additional 2,000 for playing with the Wild Pass.

If I compare what I'm investing in a competitive deck each season with my SPS earnings from Wild Ranked, it turns out I'd be losing at least three or four dollars per season. This doesn't even take into account that, all in all, I'm getting enough GLINT to buy new cards.

So I've decided to return to playing Modern Ranked, having to completely adapt to new cards than the ones I'm used to playing. This requires a lot more time to start learning their abilities by heart and not waste so much time playing a battle.
My plan is to continue investing an average of five to seven dollars per season to evaluate the performance of the new deck. If I notice I'm getting good results again, at least enough to compensate for my investment, I'll maintain that budget. Otherwise, I'll have to adjust it and compete at a lower rank, like Gold 3.

One of the challenges I'll have to face is climbing back to Gold from the lowest rank, considering I haven't played Ranked Modern in over 5-6 seasons, where I finished at Gold 1 the last time I played.
