¡Hola a todos! ¿Cómo están? Hoy traigo una noticia bastante importante, en la que contaré una decisión que he tomado respecto a mi rumbo en Splinterlands. Sin más que decir, empezemos con la publicación.
In the last two posts, I talked about how badly I started this last season in Splinterlands. It was a combination of not having enough time, bad strategies, and not yet fully adapting to the Modern Ranked sets.
The last season I played in Modern Ranked, I had improved a little, but after two months of inactivity, everything I had learned went down the drain.
En las ultimas dos publicaciones, estuve hablando de lo mal que comencé esta ultima temporada en Splinterlands. Fue una mezcla de poco tiempo, malas estrategias y que todavia no me adapté completamente a los sets de Modern Ranked.
La ultima temporada que jugué en Modern Ranked había mejorado un poco pero tras mi inactividad durante dos meses, todo lo que habia aprendido terminó en la basura.
So I've made a decision that clearly won't be beneficial in the short term, because I'm doing it mid-season, but it was something I really wanted to try.
A while ago, I saw a post by user @libertycrypto27 talking about their experience using Xbot for three seasons. It caught my attention because they were getting results very similar to what I was getting when playing manually, only without having to spend hours playing to complete so many games.
Asi que he tomado una decisión que claramente no sera beneficiosa al corto plazo, porque lo estoy haciendo a mitad de temporada, pero era algo que tenia bastantes ganas de intentar.
Hace un tiempo, habia observado una publicación del usuario @libertycrypto27 que hablaba de su experiencia utilizando Xbot durante tres temporadas. Me llamó bastante la atención, porque estaba teniendo resultados muy similares a los que estaba teniendo yo jugando manualmente, solo que no teniendo que viciar durante horas para completar tantas partidas.
At that point, even though the results caught my attention, I wasn't thinking about buying it. Mainly because I was thinking about moving to Modern Ranked, where I would get much better rewards.
But anyway, as I got closer to the end of the month, I started to see the possibility of acquiring a bot to play in Wild Ranked as more feasible, considering that lately I wasn't having as much time to play.
The first step in setting up an Xbot bot is to acquire a token on Hive-Engine and stake it. There are three types of tokens, which have the following benefits:
En ese momento, aunque me llamaron la atención los resultados, no estaba pensando en llegar a adquirirlo. Principalmente, porque era el punto en el que estaba pensado en mudarme a Modern Ranked, dónde obtendria muchas mejores recompensas.
Pero bueno, acercándome un poco más a estos últimos días, empecé a ver más factible la posibilidad de adquirir un bot para jugar en Wild Ranked, teniendo en cuenta que últimamente no estaba teniendo tanto tiempo para jugar.
El primer paso para establecer un bot de Xbot, es adquirir un token en Hive-Engine y stakearlo. Existen tres tipos de tokens, que tienen los siguientes beneficios:

At first, I was going to try to hire the best bot, which is pretty expensive considering I hadn't tested whether the service was any good or not. But there was a huge difference between buy and sell orders, so I decided to buy one Xbot Mini token, which cost me about fifteen dollars.
Once you have purchased a token, the next step is to stake it in our Hive-Engine wallet to allow the xbot system to validate our token and enable us to activate the bot.
En principio, iba a intentar contratar el mejor bot, que tiene un costo considerable teniendo en cuenta que no habia probado si el servicio era bueno o no. Pero habia una diferencia muy grande entre ordenes de compra y venta, por lo que tome la decisión de comprar una unidad del token Xbot Mini, que me salio apróximadamente unos quince dólares.
Una vez ya has adquirido un token, el siguiente paso es stakear el token en nuestra billetera de Hive Engine. De esta manera, el backend de xbot podra validar que ya tenemos un token para activar el bot.
Now the token has dropped slightly in value, due to the recent decline that affected all cryptocurrencies.
Now the next step is to delegate the Splinterlands rewards in SPS that correspond to the bot we have contracted. I have also taken advantage of this to test the feature called Liquid Rewards, which allows you to obtain SPS and DEC in liquid form, without having to unstake the rewards.
I have set 100% of my rewards to be liquid because they were not charging commissions these days, but I will probably set a percentage that will continue to be staked in my account, which I will define after seeing how much I get in my second season.
Ahora el siguiente paso es delegar las recompensas de Splinterlands en SPS que corresponden al bot según el que tenemos contratado. También he aprovecho esto para probar la función llamada Liquid Rewards, que permite obtener SPS y DEC de forma liquida, sin tener que destakear las recompensas.
He establecido el 100% de mis recompensas de forma liquida porque en estos dias no estaban cobrando comisiones, pero es probable que configure un porcentaje que se siga stakeando en mi cuenta, que lo voy a definir tras ver cuanto obtengo en mi segunda temporada.
There is also an interesting option, which in exchange for giving up 5% more of your rewards, activates boost mode, which in theory would make the bot perform better in battle.
For my part, I have not implemented this option, mainly because I am already sharing a fairly high percentage of my rewards, namely 20%.
También hay una opción interesante, que a cambio de otorgar un 5% más de tus recompensas, se activa el boost mode que en teoría haria que el bot tenga mejores resultados en la batalla.
Por mi parte, no he implementado esta opción, principalmente porque ya estoy compartiendo un porcentaje bastante alto de mis recompensas como lo es el 20%.
Just because I'm using the bot service during these seasons doesn't mean I'll stop playing the game. I'll try to do things that take up less of my time and are interesting, such as playing tournaments, participating in guild battles, and playing Foundations mode occasionally.
