Rising Star - I choose one song per day, Daily Rising Star statistics and giveaway of 150,000 starbits - The World We Knew(Over and Over): Frank Sinatra

In this space I will be giving away STARBITS, sharing my experience with a song, telling how I discovered it, and providing interesting information about it. Then I will include several tables with statistics of the Rising Star game.

Starting in May, I started to create a playlist to keep track of the last songs I commented on in my posts. It will be useful for me not to doubt if I had already talked about a song before or not. The last song is Los Dinosaurios of the argentine artist Charly Garcia.

My song of choice on Spotify for today's post is The World We Knew(Over and Over) of the italo-american artist Frank Sinatra.

As you may have noticed, I usually listen to a wide variety of musical genres, mainly those belonging to classical and timeless music. However, Trap and RKT (an Argentine subgenre of cumbia) are not to my liking, I consider that the latter represents a clear example of the current musical decadence.

Two years ago, I bought a Playstation 3 console to be able to platinum and play Fallout New Vegas. The game fascinated me, as did its incredible soundtrack. As the game was set in the 50's 60's, the music was absolutely classic so I discovered musicians like Frank Sinatra, Marty Robbins, Dean Martin and Peggy Lee.

This is another example of the influence that video games have in introducing old songs to new generations. The soundtrack plays a fundamental role in these productions, accompanying the player and enhancing his experience throughout the adventure.

Frank Sinatra was an American singer, considered one of the most important Jazz artists. In the 50s and 60s, the artist began to have more public thanks to albums such as In the wee small hours and Songs for Swingin Lovers! released in the 50s.

The World We Knew (Over and Over) is a song performed by Frank Sinatra that was released in 1967. However, it was not written by him, but by Bert Kaempfert, Herbert Rehbein and Carl Sigman.
