Rising Star - My Daily song choice, Daily Rising Star statistics and giveaway of 150,000 starbits - Blue Moon: Frank Sinatra

In this space I will be giving away STARBITS, sharing my experience with a song, telling how I discovered it, and providing interesting information about it. Then I will include several tables with statistics of the Rising Star game.

Starting in May, I started to create a playlist to keep track of the last songs I commented on in my posts. It will be useful for me not to doubt if I had already talked about a song before or not. The last song is Red Right Hand of the group Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds

My song of choice on Spotify for today's post is Blue Moon of the legendary artist Frank Sinatra.

My choice of the day today, again is related to the influence of video games. I have known many songs thanks to them, an example can be the soundtracks created for a particular video game as with The Witcher, Bloodborne and Kingdom Come Deliverance II, which contain a very good soundtrack, as games that take existing songs to set scenes of various video games like Saints Row and Grand Theft Auto.

One of the sagas next to Grand Theft Auto that has influenced me the most in terms of my musical tastes is Fallout. This game is based in the future but after a nuclear catastrophe and with a vision of how the future looked like during the Cold War era. So the music that sets the mood of the game, is all classic music from the 50's to the 70's.

This is how I discovered many musical works by Frank Sinatra, along with other great artists such as Butcher Cassidy, Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald. My favorite game of the saga is Fallout: New Vegas, which includes in its introduction one of the best songs of classical music: Blue Moon, performed by Frank Sinatra.

Frank Sinatra is one of the most important singers of the 20th century, becoming one of the legends of traditional pop and jazz.

In the 1940s, he began his solo career, which lasted for almost a decade, starting to stand out from other artists. It was all thanks to his album "In the Wee Small Hours," released in 1955, which featured hits like "Mood Indigo" and "Get Along With You Every Well." From that album, his career only took off, and he released several of the most important albums in the history of traditional music.

Blue Moon is a ballad written by Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart in 1934. However, it was reworked by Frank Sinatra for live performances. Blue Moon also achieved success many years later, thanks to its inclusion in the soundtrack of the acclaimed game "Fallout: New Vegas."
