While yesterday was all hiking in a beautiful scenery, today we did some climbing. We went up the Velky Rozsutec mountain (Slovakia) which is beautifully build of limestone. The challenge is that one needs to negotiate narrow paths with high drops and parts require the use of hands rather than feet only.
I do hike on very Saturday but I am uneasy when I have to descend facing the rock, using metal chains for support and watch out for every step. This said, I did enjoy today’s hike. The views were a fair payback for the effort of overcoming my fears and weaknesses.
