It would have been better if you are addicted to reading the Bible. Studying the Word of God will grow your spirit. When your spirit grows, your whole being will be well nurtured and preserved. Spiritual development is very important. Doing things that help you to grow will make someone have a fulfilled life. Being addicted to studying the Bible would be a better addiction.
We should be addicted to doing good to people. We can stop doing what is bad. We can stop being evil. Our lives can be blessings to others. We can radiate the love of God. We are children of God. As such, we should be doing anything that reflects the look of life of God. The life of God is that which produces love and goodness.
Being addicted to evil things is not doing someone any good. Avoid getting addicted to dangerous substances that only help to waste your life. Do not allow addiction to destroy your life. Stop drug addiction.
