Pero bueno, las madres siempre tenemos que agarrarle amor a esto de las manualidades, jeje, sí o sí; a menos que manden a hacer todo, y como en esta casa no es así, ¡me toca meterle el pecho a todo! A Chris le mandaron a hacer un móvil de animales vertebrados e invertebrados como material de apoyo para una exposición y, obvio, se lo tenía que hacer bien lindo. Acá les dejo el paso a paso: 👇
Hello, @hivediy friends, happy Tuesday! It's been a while since I've been here! But well, as moms, we always have to learn to love crafts, haha, one way or another; unless you pay someone to do everything, and since that's not the case in this house, I have to give it my all! Chris was assigned to make a mobile of vertebrate and invertebrate animals as visual aid for a presentation and, obviously, I had to make it look really cute. Here is the step-by-step: 👇
MATERIALES / MATERIALS:
Cartón / Cardboard
Figuras en cartulina / Cardstock figures
Foami amarillo escarchado / Yellow glitter foam
Hilo pabilo / Twine or cotton string
Silicón caliente / Hot glue
Okey, vamos a iniciar marcando en el cartón un óvalo y en el centro hacemos uno más corto que, con ayuda de la tijera, cortaremos.
Okay, let's start by marking an oval on the cardboard, and in the center, we'll draw a smaller one that we will cut out with the help of scissors.
El siguiente paso es amarrar el hilo e ir forrando el cartón. Acá les digo que pensé que era más fácil, pero se me movía el hilo, así que le puse un poco de pega para que se fuera quedando lo más pegado y fijo posible.
The next step is to tie the string and start wrapping the cardboard. I have to tell you, I thought it would be easier, but the string kept moving, so I added a bit of glue so it would stay as tight and secure as possible.
El siguiente paso es recortar las figuras por su contorno porque, obvio, recortarlas exactamente es más complicado.
The next step is to cut out the figures by their outline because, obviously, cutting them out exactly is more complicated.
Luego recortamos óvalos en el foami donde vamos luego a pegar cada figura con ayuda del silicón.
Then, we cut out ovals from the foam where we are going to glue each figure later using the hot glue.
El siguiente paso es colocar 4 hilos en cada extremo del mismo largo para sostener el móvil y, obvio, mi mami me ayudó.
The next step is to place 4 strings of the same length at each end to hold the mobile, and obviously, my mom helped me out.
Luego vamos a ir cortando hilos largos y otros más cortos para al final pegar cada figura, tratando de que queden en el mismo orden de cada lado.
Then, we're going to cut some long and short strings to finally glue each figure, trying to keep them in the same order on each side.
Ya los toques finales que hice fue cortar algunas hojitas en cartulina y pegarlas en algunos hilos. Le puse cada nombre a los animales y además corté dos tiras en foami blanco donde escribí "invertebrados" y "vertebrados" para pegarlas de cada lado. Como un extra, con el marcador verde le puse algunas pinticas a cada hilo y así quedó finalmente: 🥰👇
For the final touches, I cut out some small leaves from cardstock and glued them to some of the strings. I added the names of each animal and also cut two strips of white foam where I wrote "invertebrates" and "vertebrates" to glue on each side. As an extra detail, I used a green marker to add some little dots to each string, and this is how it finally turned out: 🥰👇
