Hello to everyone who follows this beautiful ¨ShadowHuntersCommunity¨: always happy when the time comes to accompany Mrs. @melinda010100 in her wonderful ¨ShadowHuntersContest¨: I don't know if it happens to you, but the day of the "shadow" "hunt" comes faster and faster, maybe it's because I'm counting down the days until I can leave the house with my grandparents and go on our family outings.
Como esta semana escogí yo el lugar donde íbamos a hacer las tomas para participar del desafío, opté por visitar la ribera; sé que es el lugar más adecuado para buscar patrones de sombras y fotografiarlos. Como siempre, la costa nos obsequió bellas sombras para hacer unas tomas.
Since I chose the location for this week's challenge photos, I opted to visit the riverbank; I know it's the best place to find and photograph shadow patterns. As always, the coast provided us with beautiful shadows for some shots.
Esta semana dimos con muchos vehículos estacionados; si bien es verdad que por aquí siempre los hay, pocas veces vi a tantos automóviles juntos. La verdad es que me encantan las sombras que ellos proyectan, pero no estábamos muy bien ubicados para ver sus proyecciones, por eso desistimos de ellos.
This week we came across many parked vehicles; while it's true that there are always some around here, I've rarely seen so many cars together. The truth is, I love the shadows they cast, but we weren't positioned well enough to see them, so we gave up on them.
El día estaba un poco raro; por momentos las nubes cubrían por completo y no podíamos ver sombras; en algunos instantes el "sol" era tenue y, en consecuencia, las sombras no eran muy nítidas; incluso las proyecciones de sombras de las ramas de los árboles eran suaves.
The day was a bit strange; at times the clouds completely covered the sky and we couldn't see any shadows; At times the "sun" was dim and, consequently, the shadows were not very sharp; even the shadow projections of the tree branches were soft.
Por suerte, mi abuela es paciente y no se apresuró para hacer la caza de sombras con su ¨teléfono-móvil¨ : y como supo esperar, dio con proyecciones y patrones de sombras preciosas; la del banco me encantó.
Luckily, my grandmother is patient and didn't rush into shadow hunting with her "mobile-phone and, knowing how to wait, she found shadow projections and patterns. Beautiful; I loved the one on the bench.
