I am so glad that after my doctor's appointment tomorrow, I will be going with my daughter to the west coast for some much needed R and R because for the last two weeks, here at home, I don’t relax. After getting the pigfish traps ready to fish and working on the boat and boat trailer, I am feeling tired all the time.
My sister's dog keeps getting out of the fence she built for him. He was an inside dog, but now he has started using the bathroom inside. I think he has something wrong but she does not have the money to take him to a Vet.
Yesterday I was in a store with her when someone was at her front door, she has the Ring doorbell. She asked the person what they wanted, and they said they had found her dog on a busy street. The lady walks by her house and knew where he belongs.
I ordered an electric fence and the wire for it, and today my husband and I went there and set it up on the inside of his fence. We had trouble getting close to the top of the gate, but thought he would hit it if he tried to jump the gate. We were wrong, I had just gotten home and into my house when the phone rang and my sister said he jumped the gate. She put him in the house for tonight, and tomorrow she said she will add a piece of plywood to the top of the gate. His name is Hugo, but I call him Hudini.
She keeps saying if she can not keep him in the fence, she will take him to a no kill shelter. I am so against this and cried when she said it. Her granddaughter have had this dog since the oldest one was a baby, and they are the only people the dog knows. Dogs are part of the family, and you do not get rid of family. I will be so mad at her if she does this.
