This is my post for #freewriters 2889 prompt sample it hosted by @mariannewest
I saw my pain management doctor today. On my last visit, we discussed me trying CBG for pain. I told her the kind of CBG that focused on nerve pain was too expensive, and I ordered a much cheaper bottle from a different company. Their website said it was THC free, but on the bottle, it says, can cause you to fail a drug test. I told her I took it, and it did nothing for my pain, and it has been 2 weeks since I took any more. She said we will do a drug test and see what it says. They took my bottle of urine to sample it for THC, I did not have any in my urine, so she said I could take it. I told her since it did not help with the pain, I was not going to buy another bottle.
I showed her the remedy that @owasco sent me and said she did not know much about the things in it, but go ahead and try it, so I will be ordering them to try.
We also talked about my foot. I told her I was on the beach when a big wave came in and something hit my foot. I think it was a board because I saw one, but it did not hurt until three hours later. I tried to stand up and could not put any pressure on it, and later it had a level 10 pain for several hours. She wants me to get an X-ray tomorrow, she said I might have cracked a bone in it. I had a bag of pinto beans in the freezer, so now I am sitting here with them draped across my foot.
I also told her how I made a cup of wild lettuce tea and drank it. It took my pain away but also put me to sleep, and around 1am I woke and was hot, then I was cold, and this kept up all night. The next morning, my PJs were soaking wet. I did not drink any more tea from it. Then I told her my sister told me she was hurting in her hip, so I gave it to her, and she called me and said she thought I was crazy saying it took the pain away, but it did. She smoked it instead of drinking the tea from it. My doctor read more about it and said, "Why are we not using this?".
