I remember watching this movie on cable television as a child; it was one of the most entertaining things I ever saw back then. However, its plot is so crazy that I always forgot about it, despite it being the same old thing. But now I see it with different eyes; I notice that it has aged very well and that the mix of science fiction with action and suspense is fascinating. It doesn't seek to revolutionize the genre, it recycles many things, but it reinvents itself with striking characters and its own universe.
