New computer day. My fitness actually came in handy. Our local aldi had a special on $299 for this small basic laptop. It is back to school time and a new year sales. That was pretty cheap for this part of the world, and the battery on my old set has been playing up, so I thought it might be worth getting one.
These things usually go fast, so I was there before opening time to make sure. There were only 4 on the shelf, and I was able to grab one while other people seemed to be more focused on the smaller hand-held tablet. I have not set it up yet, but it seems a lot lighter than my old one. Which should be good when trying to fit everything into my carry-on luggage for all the travelling.
