Long before Dorris was born, Marta and Esteban met; they would later become her parents. Before having her, they spent many years together. During that time, they enjoyed their youth together and did the things they loved, as is typical for any childless couple. Among their favorite things was music. They had many favorite singers, including children. At that time, there were many child singers who were incredibly successful. You could say they were child prodigies given their great talent.

So, these two childless parents dreamed of having a daughter who would be a singer like them; they longed for it. They could already picture themselves accompanying her on tours around the world. It would be spectacular. That's why they decided to have a daughter and train her as a singer from the beginning. And that's how Dorris was born. Once she was born and a little older, music lessons began. The school they took her to was geared towards music for young children, so while they were learning to read and write, they were also learning music.

By the time she turned eight, she had musical training and knew how to sing. So she began to sing. Thousands of people were captivated by her music when they saw her sing on her internet channel.

Her fame grew more and more. It seemed that her parents' dream was coming true, if it hadn't already. So many years of waiting were paying off. They were truly happy. But Dorris was incredibly unhappy. She wanted to have a normal life like other children, to be able to play without worrying about fame or success. But the pressure from her parents was too great for her to choose for herself.

In her view, she had lost the most precious part of her childhood to studying and performing. She often told her parents she wanted a break, to step away from music for a while and return later. But that went against her parents' dreams and her own goals. And since she was a minor, there wasn't much she could do. She spent her entire childhood and part of her adolescence singing. There wasn't much free time, as the tours and work never stopped. She earned money in the process, but it didn't make her happy at all.

Finally, she turned 18. She could now make her own decisions, and the ones she would make would be radical. She immediately announced on social media that there would be big changes. She told her parents she was grateful for everything they had done for her, but that what she had lost along the way was irreparable. She stayed in touch with them, but she needed some time alone, so she moved out.

Once she moved, she stepped away from music for a while to process everything that had happened. She was living a dream, but not her own; it was her parents' dream. Music had given her so much, but the way she entered it had taken too much toll on her emotional well-being. Therefore, she will stop singing for a while to dedicate herself to other causes for children, especially those forced into a profession without choice.

She doesn't plan to abandon music entirely, but now she will experience it her way and transform it into something she truly loves. It must be her dream, not someone else's. Of course, her parents won't be happy about this, but they've had to acknowledge that perhaps they went too far and should have involved her more. Only time will heal things between them, but it will all be difficult to forget.

Una vez que se mudó se alejó de la música por un tiempo para procesar lo que había pasado hasta aquí. Ella estaba viviendo un sueño, pero no el de ella, era el de sus padres.
