Greetings, fellow Otakus of #TheAnimeRealm. Today, I bring you an anime that has become special to me, as special as Demon Slayer (Kimetsu no Yaiba), because its plot and characters remind me so much of that series. I'm sharing my thoughts on Hell's Paradise. My new favorite series.

Sin duda esta es una de las mejores series que he visto desde que casi está por terminar Kimetsu No Yaiba y lo mejor de todo es que di con ella por casualidad, lo que la hace más especial para mí ya que nadie me la recomendó.

Without a doubt, this is one of the best series I've seen since Kimetsu No Yaiba is almost over, and the best part is that I stumbled across it by chance, which makes it even more special to me since nobody recommended it to me.
Hell's Paradise cuenta la historia de una isla maldita que alberga un supuesto elíxir de vida eterna. Muchos han ido en su búsqueda, pero nadie ha vuelto y si vuelven, lo hacen convertido en flores o al menos al cadáver le crecen flores y queda medio vivo como si fuese un zombie.
Hell's Paradise tells the story of a cursed island that holds a supposed elixir of eternal life. Many have gone in search of it, but no one has returned, and if they do, they are transformed into flowers, or at least flowers grow on their corpses, leaving them half-alive, like zombies.
Así que al ser un lugar tan peligroso y para evitar que personas importantes de Japón sigan muriendo o desapareciendo de manera innecesaria, prefieren enviar a unos cuantos hombres y mujeres que han sido condenados a muerte por cometer algún tipo de crimen.
So, because it is such a dangerous place and to prevent important people from Japan from continuing to die or disappear unnecessarily, they prefer to send a few men and women who have been sentenced to death for committing some kind of crime.
Una vez allí, quienes arriban a dicha isla se enfrentan a criaturas altamente peligrosas, que lucen más como monstruos evolucionados de los humanos o de las plantas.

Dichos monstruos son poderosos y sólo los más fuertes son los que serán capaces de sobrevivir. Es por eso que me gusta tanto esta serie, su trama me recuerda mucho a la de KNY y también un poco a la historia de samuráis legendarios que se cuentan en Samurai X.
These monsters are powerful, and only the strongest will be able to survive. That's why I like this series so much; its plot reminds me a lot of Demon Slayer and also a bit of the legendary samurai stories told in Samurai X.
Es decir, los personajes principales son espadachines especialistas o, mejor dicho, samuráis o, en su defecto, ninjas o expertos en lucha cuerpo a cuerpo.
In other words, the main characters are specialist swordsmen or, better said, samurai or, failing that, ninjas or experts in hand-to-hand combat.
Agrégale a eso una trama con criaturas sobrenaturales parecidas a demonios y tendrás garantizado un éxito total. Y desde mi punto de vista es como ver una mezcla entre Kimetsu no Yaiba y Samurai X, con leves toques de comedia por aquí y por allá.
Add to that a plot featuring demon-like supernatural creatures, and you've got a guaranteed hit. From my perspective, it's like watching a mix between Demon Slayer and Samurai X, with light touches of comedy here and there.
Otro aspecto positivo a destacar es que te encariñas rápido con sus personajes, ya sean secundarios o primarios. Y si no te has leido el manga (como yo) no sabrás quién está en la lista negra de la muerte para ser víctima de tales mounstros que habitan en esa isla maldita.
Another positive aspect worth highlighting is how quickly you grow attached to the characters, whether they're secondary or primary. And if you haven't read the manga (like me), you won't know who's on the death list, destined to fall victim to the monsters that inhabit that cursed island.
Así que nadie está garantizado para vivir, ni siquiera los personajes principales. Bueno, al menos eso es lo que me ha dado a entender la serie en todos sus episodios.
So nobody is guaranteed to live, not even the main characters. Well, at least that's what the series has led me to believe in all its episodes.
Actualmente cuenta con 2 temporadas de 13 y 12 episodios respectivamente, y su segunda temporada sigue en emisión, terminará mañana, 29 de marzo de este año. Por ser una serie altamente emocionante, cargada de acción y mucho drama, de mi parte le otorgo sus 5 estrellas completas.
It currently has two seasons of 13 and 12 episodes respectively, and its second season is still airing, ending tomorrow, March 29th of this year. Because it's a highly exciting series, full of action and drama, I give it a full 5 stars.
