Para hoy quiero recomendarles música un poco pesada, tal vez a algunos les guste este estilo y a otros no tanto, pero tenía pendiente hacer un post sobre uno de mis grupos de rock pesado favorito mejor conocido como Korn
Greetings, music lovers who bring #Music to life. Today is Tuesday, and I know it! A special day to share with you, taking advantage of the #TTT initiative proposed by @ablaze, where every Tuesday we recommend good music. Today I want to recommend some heavy music; some of you might like this style, and others might not, but I've been meaning to write a post about one of my favorite heavy rock bands, better known as Korn.

Este grupo recuerdo que inició sus andanzas musicales por allá en el año de 1993. Un grupo gótico, de rock pesado distinto a otros que había escuchado antes, si es que acaso había escuchado a alguno en aquel entonces. Su consagración se hizo famosa en el año 98 y fue a partir de los 11 años de edad que los empecé a escuchar.
𝙴𝚗𝚕𝚐𝚒𝚜𝚑
I remember this group starting their musical journey back in 1993. A gothic, heavy rock band unlike any I'd heard before, if indeed I'd heard any at all back then. They rose to fame in '98, and I started listening to them when I was 11 years old.
Esto, más que todo gracias a la influencia de mi hermano, quien apenas los conoció musicalmente hablando, no paraba de escucharlos. Recuerdo que ponía sus discos a todo volumen cada tarde luego de regresar de la escuela.
This was mostly thanks to my brother's influence; even though he barely knew them musically, he listened to them constantly. I remember him playing their records at full volume every afternoon after coming home from school.
Sin embargo, yo los odiaba porque gritaban muy duro y su música era muy pesada. La verdad es que no apreciaba el sonido artístico que ellos hacían con estos instrumentos. Técnicamente, fue la primera agrupación de Nu Metal que escuché en mi vida y no me gustaba ni un poquito.
However, I hated them because they screamed so loudly and their music was so heavy. The truth is, I didn't appreciate the artistic sound they created with their instruments. Technically, they were the first nu-metal band I ever heard, and I didn't like them one bit.
No fue sino más adelante, cuando empecé a ver sus videos por primera vez y también entendía un poco de inglés, que mi incursión al lado oscuro del Nu Metal se fue acrecentando conforme pasaban los años.
It was only later, when I started watching their videos for the first time and also understood a little English, that my foray into the dark side of Nu Metal increased as the years went by.
Uno de los recuerdos que más tengo marcados de esta agrupación son los efectos visuales que hacían en sus videos y las letras de sus canciones, lo que me impactó también. De ellos tengo unas cuantas favoritas y desde entonces admiro mucho la voz de Jonathan Davis. Para mí, él es una leyenda musical ya sea con su agrupación o como solista.
One of my most vivid memories of this group is the visual effects they used in their videos and the lyrics of their songs, which also really impressed me. I have a few favorite songs of theirs, and ever since then I've greatly admired Jonathan Davis's voice. For me, he's a musical legend, both with his group and as a solo artist.
Somebody Someone
La primera que quiero recomendar de ellos me gustó mucho, sobre todo por su letra, y también me cautivó el estilo visual del video. Ellos mantenían un estilo único en cada uno de sus videoclips y para mí los hacía especial
The first song I want to recommend from them, I really liked, especially the lyrics, and I was also captivated by the video's visual style. They maintained a unique style in each of their music videos, and for me, that's what made them special.
Freak On A Leash
Freak On A Leash en cambio me gustó más por sus efectos especiales y el videoclip en sí. La canción no fue de mis favoritas sino mucho después de tanto ver el video.
I liked Freak On A Leash more for its special effects and the music video itself. The song wasn't one of my favorites until much later, after watching the video so many times.
Falling Away From Me
Por último, la canción más especial de todas. Falling Away From Me es una canción que me marcó emocionalmente, me rescató en mis momentos más oscuros y actualmente aún tiene ese efecto especial en mí, por lo que la hace la mejor canción de esta agrupación y mi favorita de favoritas que he escuchado de ellos.
Finally, the most special song of all. Falling Away From Me is a song that emotionally impacted me, rescued me during my darkest moments, and still has that special effect on me today, making it the best song by this band and my absolute favorite of all the songs I've heard from them.
Ya sea que Jonathan Davis cante en grupo o como solista, su estilo impregna cada parte del escenario donde se para a cantar con su estilo único y su voz inigualable. Espero que les haya gustado mi #TTT.
