Fluir sobre la nieve o el agua | Poesía [ES/EN]

Una chica vestida de negro
me sirve un café,
hace un gesto con sus labios
y lo ignoro sin darme cuenta.
Luego supe
algo sobre su mirada
y pensé en los pingüinos de Madagascar.
Los pingüinos no beben café,
ni les importa
que Madagascar sea el nombre
de una isla
que trasciende las olas y los arrecifes,
solo les importa
ser fieles a su pareja
y fluir sobre la nieve
o el agua.
Este café
tiene demasiada agua,
y para colmos
lo ha servido una chica
vestida de negro.

A girl dressed in black
serves me a coffee,
makes a gesture with her lips
and I ignore it without noticing.

Later I learned
something about her gaze
and I thought of the penguins of Madagascar.
Penguins don't drink coffee,
nor do they care
that Madagascar is the name
of an island
that transcends waves and reefs,
they only care
about being faithful to their mate
and flowing over the snow
or the water.

This coffee
has too much water,
and to top it all off,
it was served by a girl
dressed in black.
