I remember the time I used one of those machines. I put in some coins, and the machine crushed them, turning them into a souvenir of the trip. I wasn't expecting that; it stamped the place I had visited. So, sometimes putting a coin in the slot of these machines isn't just any old game. Whoever invented that idea gained some followers; I found that beautiful, unexpected souvenir amusing.
Also, putting coins in machines that give you prizes is a matter of luck and skill. Let's see how I do with some of them. Although I don't like to gamble with money, I'm just testing the waters.
