No to brain tampering

Greetings!

The way God has created the individual human being is a perfect way and this is because of what the scripture says. The scripture says, “all what God created is good and perfect.” So, the way God has created everyone of us is perfect and for us to be tampered with might be like corrupting what God has put in place.

Having said this, I would like to delve into the topic of the prompt which asked if I would allow a chip to be inserted into my brain for proper memorization.

As for me, I would not allow my brain to be tampered with at all and this is because of the sensitivity of that part of the body called the brain.

The brain is the most sensitive part of the body and any mistake in the course of operation might spell doom to the whole being of the person.

Furthermore, we have in the past seen cases where doctors made mistakes on their operated patients through slight mistakes.

Some time ago, a colleague of mine at work went for an operation and he was operated on, but after the operation, he noticed that he was not still feeling fine or ill. In fact, what he noticed was that he was better off than before he was operated on.

Although, he was still managing himself and taking drugs to get healed even after the operation. But when he realized that he was not getting better, he went to another hospital where another operation was being carried out on him again.

So, when the other operation was carried out on him again, the new doctor discovered that something was mistakenly left behind inside my colleague's body in the previous operation. It's this discovery that made us know what made his health worse than when he had not done the former operation. But thank God he survived the mistake of the first doctor.

So, going by my experience and what I had witnessed from the events that happened between my friend and the doctor who carried out the first operation on him, I would never allow the most sensitive part of my body which is my brain to be tampered with.

However, the initiative of inserting a chip into my brain with the benefits might sound good, but as for me, I would rather be who I am than being operated on in the brain.

So, if there's another means where I could be helped to have a sound mind and a retentive brain, I would be ready to do or go for it, but if it's that of tampering with my brain, I would totally go against it.

Going against it is as a result of how prone people are to making mistakes. One thing is that no one is above mistakes and no one can even tell when a mistake would happen.

So, since no one is perfect and above mistake, i would rather be whom God has created me to be with the kind of brain he has given than going for a chip to be inserted into my brain for long retention which might alter the setting of my brain and result to loss of memory where one would go to factory setting.

In conclusion, instead of going for such an operation, I would rather look for another means of developing my brain as there's other means by which one can get his or her brain developed, which can be through reading or mastering.

This is my entry to week 178,Edition 03 of the weekly Featured contest in the Hive Learners community.

Well said. I can relate to that case of your friend’s surgery and the poor condition of our health sector and professional in the country. That was really serious.

Even some that are left with no choice than to get artificial aids will not want it. But since they got no choice. Not to talk of a healthy soul.
