I don't remember seeing a farm pig escape and then become one of the wild pigs. ๐ท๐๐คฏ I know I could simply search online for videos about it though! ๐

Regardless of whether or not you've seen it, it is very common. Pigs will usually revert back to having black fur within only a few generations, and they reproduce extremely quickly for being such large mammals, so that happens fast. ๐๐๐โจ๐ค

I would say to avoid anything put out by well-known universities. There are a goodly number of books on the subject for various regions, though my library is gone, so I can't easily recommend specific sources at the moment unless I go hunt them down, which I do not feel like doing now. ๐๐๐โจ๐ค
