Hosting such Hive tipping bots doesn't require expensive hardware, only that such machines should be as close to 100% uptime as possible. 🤖🤓

My laptop would probably work for that, as it's always online. Even if we lose power, it's never for long. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

I wonder when you would finally try to use Bjorn's FOSS code to host your first own Hive token tipping bot (using a #HiveEngine token for testing). 😅

That's a good question, and I don't honestly know yet. It depends on how intensive the setup is, and how many system resources would be used, since I have to leave enough for Qortal, running a model locally with Hermes Agent, and the work that I do on my computer every day. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

@borniet could tell his minimum and recommended specs for running a single Hive token tipping bot (and multiple tipping bots on the same computer) !INDEED! 🤔🤓😎

True indeed, he could. If he doesn't pop up, I'll ping him in Discord. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

If your plan to ping borniet on that centralized third-party communications platform successfully makes him reply, then you could share his reply on this conversation on his behalf !INDEED! 🤔🤓😏

Sure, I would have done that anyway. I got an idea of the resources necessary today. Bjorn finally created an admin dashboard for all the tipping bots, so that I can monitor, and restart them if necessary. Next to each bot is the amount of space that it's using, though I don't know yet if it's storage space or memory space (I'll ask Bjorn), and for most of them it's under 30MB, so their footprint is quite small. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

If that amount of space used frequently changes noticeably, then it's likely memory (RAM) and not storage !INDEED. 🤔🤓
Anyway, regardless of whether it's memory or storage, 30 MB seems very low for a bot (especially one that runs every second without downtime). 😎😏

You can basically run it on just about any smartwatch so to speak…
But I am also considering the bot-as-a-service idea 😉👍
