@borniet, what do you think of this idea of a !report call to flag spammers. scammers, and farmers? Our savvy friends find our current setup a bit too restrictive for how the tend to use our tipping bots. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

The previous restriction of "only one ALIVE token tip every 10 minutes to the same Hive account" will make a person who wants to tip the same Hive author 3 times for the day (UTC) choose to comment here on Hive for more than 30 minutes, make three separate commenting sessions, or simply let go of the plan !INDEED. 🧘♂️🤯

I can already tip !IDD, !WRD, !HOP, !STR, !BRN, and !MMB together in one comment. 🤔 That's already more than the maximum of 5 token tipping commands allowed by the ALIVE, UNICOIN, and PIXYDUST token tipping bots. 🤯
It really looks like I should choose the 4 best tipping tokens for every comment, so that I can also use the UNICOIN/PIXYDUST token tipping commands (and 3 if I also want to tip ALIVE on the same comment). 😅
ALIVE can be used with more than 5 total tip calls in a comment, as multiple core members, me included, use it all the time past 5, and it works fine.
I focus on ALIVE, BBH, LADY, PIMP, PIXY, UNICOIN, and WINE, with others being tipped as appropriate. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

I'm a bit weary of that idea, as it can be used to bully people easily. I do like the idea of using the "official" blacklists of Hive, and I am looking into the possibility of implementing that.

If the !report command will work only for (core) team members of the #WeAreAlive tribe and not for everyone else, then it is unlikely for anyone to get "bullied" as I believe that the team members of the ALIVE tribe are good guys. 🖖
Let's !HOPE for an "official token tipping blacklist" here on Hive, which is separate from other blacklists which are !INDEED used to "bully people easily". 🤗

Yup! Now I fully got what you meant exactly, and I have implemented as such! The bots now listen to a report command when issued by a certain set of users (you are one of them), which will create an addition to a (manually also manageable) blacklist. Maybe, in the future, this blacklist could even also be made available for other devs/systems on hive. The other anti spam measures have been made looser, you should not be touching the limits anymore. And in doubt, one can now check his tipping-history on https://tipping.botlord.eu and see why it failed.

However, if using the ! report command on any comment will trigger your blacklist bot, then I should be careful typing such command anywhere! 😅 You should have a unique command to call, or at least a specific post where the command should be used. 🤓

Yes, I definitely get that. As @savvyplayer mentioned in the other reply to your comment, if the !report command were only able to be used by core WAAT members, then the possibility of abuse is immensely reduced. I'm open to the idea of using a more community-wide blacklist, though perhaps one separate from the ones that are ruining people's accounts with no communication. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

I just told Bjorn to be careful how his !ALIVE token tipping bot processes such report commands, as they might be accidental reports caused by you, him, or any other core #WeAreAlive tribe team member talking about such ! report command! 🖖😆
