This weekend, we visited one of our favorite sushi restaurants: Sushi Koushi.
I have ordered a couple of happy hour rolls: Seattle roll and Koushi roll. These were both delicious, though I ended up eating more of my wife's roll as it was a bit too spicy for her. She had my Seattle roll as she liked it even more than Sushi Lovers salmon sushi that our daughter ordered:
Sushi Lovers is our daughter's favorite entry at this restaurant, and she usually eats all of it except the seaweed wrapped salmon rolls, I usually finish those.
We also had miso soup and cucumber salad as well as tempura vegetables. It was another great trip to our favorite local sushi place.
Our son still doesn't like sushi, so it is surprising that our daughter really loves sushi and is frequently asking us to go there.
She also loves grilled octopus, which is another surprising choice for the eleven year old. Both are very healthy choices, so I am really happy that she loves those.
She also loves Tika Masala at our local Indian restaurant and even the frozen box version from the supermarket that she takes to school.
This weekend was also full of her friends' birthdays. She went to one on Saturday at her friend's house where I took her and on Sunday she went to the skating place where my wife took her.
I managed ten thousand steps on Saturday and over twelve thousand steps on Sunday. I also managed a really good weight lifting workout today.
Tomorrow is the start of a very busy week for me with a production deployment at work as well as an in person day in Seattle as well as trips to a doctor with my in-laws and lawn maintenance at both places and many other things to do.
The weather is supposed to be warm and sunny most of the week, so that is really nice.
