School Bullying
In short, an unending process despite several punishments and warnings. Iam living in a State, where school bullying has become more or less a regular scenario.
Imagine the teacher himself becoming a part of this bullying. This is one of the current news going on in our State right now. An enthusiastic boy with lot of dreams and passion just completed his high school. After putting years of hard work, he secured a seat in Dental college, conducted by the Government Medical Association.
As his parent's are labourers working on daily wages, his aim was to become a Doctor and to built a house ffor his parents. What more you need to expect from a 17 year old child ?
The child was repeatedly insulted in his class, for his caste by a particular teacher. Being an ambitious child he never took these insults to his heart, as his only ambition was to become a Doctor. But this did not last long.
He took a step forward. And one fine morning, maybe two weeks ago, he committed suicide. Who is to blame ? When a teacher who has to build a successful nation becomes a bully of his shameless acts. I can address this as one of the most brutal act.
How to handle this act
Character building starts right from home. We must be careful while conversing any matter with our child. Most of his positiveness should be put into notice rather than negativitiy. This not only enables him to be more confident , but also creates an openness in himself to discuss any matter with us or with any concerned authorities.
He becomes able to handle things by himself and when it goes above his expectations he makes sure to notify us, so that we get involved and take the necessary actions.
What I would do
Such acts should never go unnoticed and we need to fight for justice. Else, we bring in so many unruly elements who makes it difficult for the public to move around freely.
Thankyou for your time to go through my blog.
