What are your Spring | Autumn | Solstice memories?
Yes, the seasons keep changing and some infact leaves beautiful traces of memories, especially when our destination change. Greetings dear Hiveans and Community members.
Spring is quite pleasant and welcoming with flower shows, being active in many places. Though I have heard of this shows, I never had the opportunity to visit any of these. . Fortunately in 2021, after the covid period, my husband decided to take us to a botanical garden, a one day journey from my place.
Luckily, for the past few years the Christmas vacation falls this time, which makes it quite comfortable to prepare a journey. A short vacation from college and workplace for my children proved fruitful, after they set a journey to this beautiful destination and utilized their time to the maximum,
We set off packing our things. The cool breeze, the budding flowers along the road side, the greenery on either side with tea gardens for quite a long distance was amazingly beautiful and so welcoming. It was like this was the right time for us to have a family gathering amongst ourselves.
This is a view point and down there we can see an old church afar with a few houses around. The peoples here speak different language, an ancient language- as tols by our guide
On one such travel along with my family, we visited Ooty Botanical garden, a famous hill station in South India where peoples comes from all over the world. On entering the garden I was just dumbstuck with more than 1000 variety of colourful flowers. Some fully bloomed while some getting ready to expose its beauty to this beautiful world.
The most beautiful thing I understood from this travel was - One's problem just vanishes if you are in such an environment surrounded by flowers and only flowers.
I happened to come across many peoples here- the children, the youth, the young and the old. While many of them were taking photographs, few were busy with the tourist guide who was narrating the importance of few flowers. An interesting fact was their was a guard in every place warning not to touch or pluck the flowers.
The beauty lies when the flowers are in its plant rather than our hand. We spent a whole day moving around amidst the colourful flowers, the blooming buds, the fragrance and the elite looks they gave . The memory is atill afresh while writing this article. And infact, we were breathing in the air of the fresh and cool breeze.
Each spring has a beautiful untold story and I wish it keeps continuing till the flowers fade.
