They are very nice people that have fenced off a narrow section of their pasture for hikers to access the Gold mine trail!🤗
It has been a while since PEPE has lead a hike up into these mountains, today was the day!😊
“Careful PEPE, that electric fence is HOT!”😳
The trail starts out steep from the trailhead in the valley below…………
Soon PEPE lead us into a Forest of Western Red Cedar trees, covered with “Spanish Moss”!😊
“I take you to “very fast moving pond” now Silbertop! PEPE guide you, you are in good hands!”🐸
“OK…… my green friend!”☺️
I really didn’t have the heart to tell PEPE, that during the Summer, his “Fast Moving Pond” stops moving “Fast” Lol!😇
Along the way, we passed one of the “Regular” hikers on this trail.
Silvertop has spoken to this Man numerous times!😊

It actually was mid afternoon, he tends to always tell me good morning no mater what the time of day it is….Lol!😇
“I’m doing well my friend PEPE is guiding me on today’s hike!”😊
I discovered during our chat that he had injured his knee, it was wrapped with a thick black elastic bandage. He was trying to “power through” the pain………
“Careful, my friend, it’s a fine line between helping, and hurting yourself worse!”🙄
“Dude… PEPE have bad knees too, chicks like injured guys, we both limp next time Lady frog’s hike past us!”🐸
“lol…… You need to excuse PEPE, he really doesn’t get outside much!”🤣
“Maybe we should start back downhill, before your “Knee’s give out PEPE Lol!”😇
