“When One Door Closes, Another One Opens!”😇

I just shut off my chainsaw this afternoon, when I saw Will my neighbor walking towards me in my backyard…………..
“Silvertop I just wanted to touch base with you, and see if you still want some more firewood!”☺️
If you remember Will, he is the owner/builder of the powered sailboat that is currently “parked” in the trees close to the side of our road!😊
Every time I go for a hike, I pass Will’s sailboat………………….
Just a few hundred feet further up this road, he had several tall Spruce trees die.
I noticed that the dead trees were spray painted with fluorescent orange!
Yep….. Will is having a local tree service take them down.
A couple of weeks ago I noticed the trees had been cut down.
The logs are just laying in blackberries close to the road.
It’s not a lot, but it’s “easy firewood picking”, just along the side of a paved road!☺️
Silvertop just finished cutting ALL of the fallen Maple trees in my backyard TODAY……….Yea!🤗😅
“Is it OK Will if I come up in a couple of weeks, I wanted to finish splitting what I have back at home?”
“Sounds good Silvertop, and if you want MORE than this, I have a lot more firewood for you all free!”😊
“I think this will be plenty my friend, I have enough to make it through a few winters Lol!”😇
