The children are the heritage of the Lord. He gave them to the parents as a gifts of trust. He believes that they will take good care of them. There is a commitment tied to the parents when God gave them the children. Let it be very clear from the very beginning that raising a child is not a thing to joke about. There is an expectation which God himself demands from all those who are parents.
The careless attitude which people are exhibiting on the issues of raising children is not what it should be. Some people just think that they can just impregnate themselves and them run away. Others don't even care about the welfare of the children which they have put to birth. All of these are not right. There are many parents who are living separately. Such homes won't be able to raise up children that give God glory. Let us take this noble responsibility with seriousness. Let us look with utmost commitment to the issue of children training.
One way of training our children is to teach to them the way of God. We should transfer the things which we have learned from God to our children. We must teach them the Word of God. They should know and understand the doctrines of Jesus Christ and follow them.
