Good evening buzzers! It's been a sloth week! I made a cardinal sin! I started playing Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic again! And I missed a week of life! Where does time go!
You know, I've never played the game on 'normal' mode. I just open the standard map, set it to realistic, mine some oil, then go from there! It's amazing how fast you can lose hours, or even days, building a town!
Even the starting infrastructure, roads/construction offices and resource storage take an hour! Then you have to set up oil rigs, decide whether to truck the resources or pipe them, build more storage... then what about firefighters!!! Quick, before everything burns down!
Have you remembered to add electricity? Got it set up for future expansion, too? Now it's time to lay out the base city, houses, day care, schools, and what about college? Should we do that early or sloth it out? No rush...But I need research, quick, add the Party Headquarters!
You've got water, right? Water treatment? Pumps? Storage?
What about shops? Pubs? Basic resources like food? I mean cmon sloth! What are you doing!

Ok, I love it, it's hectic, it's never-ending! There's always something ready to trip you up and make you fail! But it's a buzz! My brain goes crazy for it!

I love rock, and adding that techno baseline just elevates it to something totally different. I can sing the words whilst bobbing along to the beat! Not 'just' dum dum dum music, there's some decent lyrics there!
