Hello, amazing friends on Hive!
Greetings to you all, I hope you're enjoying a wonderful weekend!
I just wanted to share how my Saturday went — it was quite a fulfilling day. As a teacher, weekends are usually my free time, so I try to make the most of them.
I started my morning early with a visit to attend to my side business. After returning home, I did some house chores before heading out to assist my brother at his shop, where he sells roofing materials. It was great to be of help , I even made a few sales while I was there!
When things became quiet and customers weren’t coming in as frequently, I took out my phone , just like someone who’s excited to explore every feature of a new car, I jumped into Hive to explore more about this amazing platform.
The first thing I did was check my notifications. I was thrilled to see that my recent post received more votes than my very first one! Shout out!! to all who voted my post 🥳 I appreciate you all. That was a big boost for me , it motivated me to become more active on Hive. Instead of spending time scrolling through Facebook reels, I’ve decided to redirect that energy to Hive, where I gain more value and connection.
While exploring, I discovered a weekend challenge in the Weekend Engagement Community, which I’m excited to participate in. I also found out that users can actually create their own communities on Hive — how cool is that?
To make sure I understood everything correctly, I reached out to my amazing mentor, @ivyann, for clarification on some icons and features I wasn’t sure about. As always, she explained everything clearly , shout-out to her for being such a great guide!
After my Hive adventure and time at the shop, I came home and treated myself to a delicious bowl of okro soup and fufu. It was the perfect way to end a productive day.
