Our world of today has been successfully interwoven with technology. Literally, every aspect of human life and all activities that makes up our daily life has a touch of technology radiating from it ranging from communication, transportation, education, name it.
From the discovery and usage of crude tools to aid living, to a leap forward into advanced devices and machineries which are in use today and honestly, there has been a huge difference.

Gone are the days when people relied on animals like horses and camels for movement or settle for trekking, the invention of motorcycles, buses, trains, aircrafts and the rest has changed that story.
Talk about having to walk a reasonable distance or write letters to be sent over through the post office which always ends up getting to the recipient a week after or even more, just to pass across a message. This also has been replaced with smart phones, laptops, tablets.
Not to mention the striking changes technology has made in the health industry alongside education, banking, security, entertainment...
Down to the littlest activities as cooking with firewood which has been replaced with electric and gas cookers, washing manually to the use of washing machines, airing oneself with a hand fan to standing, ceiling, electric hand fans and air conditioners for ventilation as well as the switch from candles and oil lamps to light bulbs, all thanks to the evolution of technology.

Technology has surged living from manual, tedious and time consuming methods to fast and stress free means.
An activity that would earlier on demand an hour, with the use of technological devices now takes thirty minutes at maximum, leaving one with a good amount of time to venture into other activities and make the most of each day, with enough time to get a good rest as well.
So yes, technology has indeed made life much easier for all in almost every way possible.
Certainly, alongside the perks of technology comes the downsides of it; decrease in real life connections, dependence on its products and neglect of traditional skills and knowledge. In other words, a detachment from nature and the natural world.
However, all that is needed is to strike a balance between leveraging the goodies of technology and retaining a good relationship with our natural world.
