I want to share my first impressions, but I'll try not to spoil the experience for anyone reading this, because if you haven't seen this anime, I 100% recommend it. It's been one of my favorite anime, and I plan to do a chapter-by-chapter review. Today will be my first time sharing this extraordinary story with you.
This first chapter, titled "To You, 2000 Years in the Future: The Fall of Shiganshina", is not just a simple beginning to a story; It's an episode that gradually draws us into a fascinating story from the very beginning. The characters are quite emotional from the moment they appear on screen, and as the seconds tick by, you become increasingly immersed in a very harsh reality.
The series begins with Mikasa and Eren. At first, I thought Eren had a vision. It's not clear if that's what happened, but it seemed that way to me. I think that after waking from that deep sleep he was immersed in, Eren felt or imagined what was to come.
The story takes place inside Wall Maria, in a world where humanity lives cornered by giant and terrifying creatures called Titans, who devour humans in a very cruel way. Ruthless. Everyone fears them because these titans are emotionless, carnivorous beings. Those in charge of protecting the village built gigantic walls to prevent the titans from entering.
They have been trapped inside those walls for 100 years, without any contact whatsoever. Only a few brave souls, belonging to a kind of scout guard, are the only ones allowed to venture outside the walls, but almost none of them return.
At the beginning of the story, we are shown the daily lives of Eren, Mikasa, and Armin. Their conversations and ambitions are ordinary; they give the impression of being young people who want to experience the world and see what lies beyond the walls. Eren is the most daring because he wants to belong to the Survey Corps despite all the danger it entails, and Mikasa will follow him, not because she wants to be a Survey Corps member, but because she has a duty to protect him, since she is his older sister. As for Armin, he gives me the impression of being a lonely boy who has no choice but to follow Eren and Mikasa.
In the early stages of the story, we are given to understand that there is a feeling of peace, albeit a peace under conditions of confinement and protection. Almost everyone feels confident because they have had 100 years of tranquility, but as the story progresses, they realize that the peace they have worked so hard for will be shattered by the incredible events that are to come.
The Titans have returned, and this time with even greater destructive power. Now no one is safe. Eren, Mikasa, and Armin will run for their lives along with the entire village—well, not everyone, because... Most of them were eaten by the Titans.
The way the Titans are presented is terrifying; they're not just monsters, they're something that defies logic and inspires pure terror. The sound is wonderfully frightening, giving the feeling of always being under constant threat. In the blink of an eye, that initial tranquility turns into a terrifying survival nightmare; now everyone is running for their lives.

La caída de Shiganshina, quiero compartir mis primeras impresiones pero trataré de no arruinarle la experiencia a ninguno de los que me leen, porque si no te has visto este anime te lo recomiendo 100%, ha sido uno de mis mejores animes y pienso hacer la reseña capítulo por capítulo y hoy será mi primera experiencia contádoles esta extraordinaria historia.
Este primer capítulo, titulado "A ti, 2000 años en el futuro. La caída de Shiganshina ", no es solo una simple inicio de una historia; es un capítulo que desde el principio nos va introduciendo poco a poco en una historia super interesante, los personajes son un tanto emocionales desde que aparecen en escena y cada vez a medida que pasan los segundos te sumerges en una realidad muy cruda.
La serie comienza con Mikasa y Eren, donde al principio creí que Eren había tenido una visión, no queda claro si eso fue lo que pasó pero a mi me pareció que fue así, creo que Eren despues de despertar de ese profundo sueño donde estaba sumergido, sintió o se imaginó lo que estaba por venir.
La historia nos sitúa dentro de la Muralla María, en un mundo donde la humanidad vive acorralada por unas criaturas gigantes y aterradoras llamadas Titanes, los cuales se comen a los humanos de una manera muy cruel y despiadada. Todos les tienen miedo porque estos titanes son seres sin sentimientos y carnívoros. Los encargados de cuidar el pueblo construyeron unas murallas gigantescas para prevenir que los titanes entrararan.
Encerrados en esa muralla han estado durante 100 años, sin tener ningun tipo de contacto detrás de esos muros. Solo hay unos pocos valientes que pertenecen a una especie de guardias exploradores que son los únicos que pueden salir fuera de la muralla pero casi ninguno regresa.
Al principio en la historia se nos muestra la vida cotidiana de Eren, Mikasa y Armin. Sus conversaciones y ambiciones son normales, dan la impresión de ser jóvenes que quieren experimentar el mundo y ver que hay más allá de las murallas. Eren es el más atrevido porque quiere pertenecer a los guardianes exploradores a pesar de todo el peligro que conlleve y Mikasa lo seguirá pero no porque desea ser exploradora sino porque tiene el deber de protegerlo siempre, ya que, es su hermana mayor, en cuanto a Armin es un chico que me da la impresión que es un chico solitario y no tiene de otra que seguir a Eren y Mikasa.
En los primeros momentos de la trama nos dan a entender que hay un sentimiento de paz, aunque sea una paz bajo unas condiciones de encierro y protección, casi la mayoría se siente confiado porque han tenido 100 años de tranquilidad, pero a medida que avanza la historia se dan cuenta que la paz que tanto les ha costado se verá derrumbada por los incrébles acontecimientos que vendrán.
Los Titanes regresaron y esta vez con mayor poder de destrucción, ahora nadie estará a salvo, Eren, Mikasa y Armín correrán por sus vidas junto con toda la aldea, bueno no todos porque a la gran mayoría se los comieron los Titanes.
La forma en que se presentan los Titanes es aterradora; no son solo monstruos, son algo que desafía la lógica y que inspira un terror puro. El sonido es maravillosamente aterrador, da la sensación de siempre estar en una amenaza constante. En un abrir y cerrar de ojos esa tranquilidad que se sentía al principio se convierte en una pesadilla de supervivencia aterradora, ahora todos correrán por sus vidas.
Este primer capítulo para mí fue impactante y me dejó totalmente enganchado. Te invito a que lo veas y me cuentes tu experiencia y si ya lo viste dime ¿Qué tal te pareció?
