Hoy me siento un poco mejor, aunque aún no estoy del todo bien, al menos ya tengo ganas de comerme al mundo otra vez.
Tengo una larga lista de cosas por hacer, nada inusual, es sólo que es tanto lo que sueño, junto a tantas maneras de conseguirlos.
Hace poco escuché en un video algo que me impactó: Cuando pienses algo hazlo enseguida, no lo dejes guardado en tu mente, junto a todas esas cosas que se quedan olvidadas sin hacer.
Y es que definitivamente, no hay peor enemigo del éxito que la inacción.
Si intentas algo que se te ocurre y fracasas, en realidad no es un fracaso, habrás descubierto que por ahí no es y ganas experiencia.
Mientras que si no lo intentas, no habrás avanzado nada, ni aprendido nada... Pasa que "el que no se arriesga, ni gana, ni pierde".
I’m feeling a little better today, though I’m still not quite back to normal—at least I’m ready to take on the world again.
I have a long to-do list, which isn’t unusual, but there’s just so much I dream of doing, along with so many ways to make it happen.
I recently heard something in a video that really struck me: When you think of something, do it right away; don’t let it sit in your mind, along with all those other things that get forgotten and left undone.
Because, quite simply, there is no worse enemy of success than inaction.
If you try something that comes to mind and fail, it’s not really a failure—you’ll have discovered that it’s not the right path, and you’ll gain experience.
Whereas if you don’t try, you won’t have made any progress, nor learned anything... It’s true that “he who doesn’t take risks neither wins nor loses.”
En lo personal me paraliza el fracaso, me gusta ir sobre seguro. Y sí, cada vez que nos aventuramos a lo desconocido puede salir mal, pero... y si todo sale bien.
Cuando lo miro desde esa perspectiva, creo que vale la pena el riesgo.
Además hay un largo camino que recorrer antes de descubrir el éxito y si no me muevo, no lo hallaré nunca.
Debo decir que percibo al éxito como una figura que se mueve con rapidez. Hoy puedes sentirse exitoso por un logro importante que te ha costado años y ya mañana seguramente encontrarás algún otro desafío que te inspire y te haga moverte de donde estás.
Tiene que ver con motivación al logro y la autorrealización, que por fortuna no se detienen.
Personally, failure paralyzes me; I like to play it safe. And yes, every time we venture into the unknown, things can go wrong, but... what if everything goes right?
When I look at it from that perspective, I think it’s worth the risk.
Besides, there’s a long road ahead before I find success, and if I don’t take action, I’ll never find it.
I have to say that I see success as a figure that moves quickly. Today you might feel successful because of a major achievement that took you years to reach, and tomorrow you’ll surely find some other challenge that inspires you and pushes you to move forward.
It has to do with motivation to achieve and self-actualization, which, fortunately, never stop.
Creo que una vida sin sentir esa chispa que nos inspira a ser mejores y a luchar por lo que queremos, se vuelve gris y fría.
Pienso que los seres humanos necesitamos inspiración, motivación y logros, para afianzar nuestra confianza y darle sentido a nuestra existencia.
Ver pasar las horas, los días y los años, sin nada que nos mueva, no tiene sentido.
Tampoco es que tenga sentido estar tan ocupados que nos perdamos nuestra propia vida.
El equilibrio es importante en todo... nada en exceso es bueno.
I believe that a life without that spark that inspires us to be better and to fight for what we want becomes dull and cold.
I think that human beings need inspiration, motivation, and achievements to build our confidence and give meaning to our existence.
Watching the hours, days, and years go by without anything to move us is meaningless.
Nor does it make sense to be so busy that we miss out on our own lives.
Balance is important in everything... nothing in excess is good.
