Next to the supermarket, an old cat was peacefully napping on the hood of a car. I approached quietly; my presence didn’t disturb him at all. He barely lifted his head for a brief moment before immediately falling back asleep to finish his nap.
Like a playful wink of light, a delicate shadow then appeared on the hood ,perfect to share in our shadow contest.
