Well Hello There Fellow Adventure Seekers!
The Van Loveren Experience!
Now this was something quite unique and honestly I've been waiting more than a year to write up about this one! Heck I might need to revisit it actually since it has been far too long!
I could have written up about it much earlier! I really could have but if and buts are now out of the question! We are here now and let's dive into a wonderful experience!
Without a doubt this might have been the coolest thing about "Van Loveren!"
The fact that you are not cramped up inside a building having to taste wine! Nah instead you can sit outside listen to the birds chirping and the wind blowing over your face all the while sipping away at a nice wine!
What more can be asked for in life!
Oh and some nice Ankole!
Another plus point!
It was quite scary going up close to get photos of these beasts!
They wont even have to try hard to try and hurt you! Heck they can just think they play with you and end up hurting you! Some gentle giants!
Wine Tasting! The Good Stuff!
We each chose a seperate batch of stuff! I chose the cheese one, heck I don't know what you call these fancy things! But I do know some of the wines were damned good!
The mother in law chose the chocolate bundle, not sure how that was and the fiance chose the nutty one. Heck I can't even remember correctly but each was different and each bundle was paired with different flavours of wine! White, red, muscadels the whole hooti ma tooti!
Okay I had it the other way around, the Fiance had the sweets! Turkish delight! White chocolate, some salami which is weird and then dark chocolate! Odd that there was salami in there! But meh everything and I mean everything was delicious!
I have to add that drinking up the wine was a real challenge! Especially not being a wine drinker I would say it made me quite warm! Maybe we're not meant to drink it up but I just could not resist that sweet aroma dropping down!
Wait? Why are there a random bunch of four wine glasses extra over there? Heck did we drink that much wine? Hold up I have to ask the fiance about this real quick!
Laughs! Must be we got a nice tasting for something different!
Some water to wash it all down with! YEAHP for real! I mean we still have to drive back home and there are a lot of police in this area and especially so over the holiday season!
Have to drop the count by all means if you know what I mean!
But wait there was more! So much more to all of this!
We had to stop for something to eat afterwards! Can't push through the day with just wine! YEAH yeah I know this ain't something to eat but it was sure as hell the top point of it all!
That much is certain! I chose me a nice thick bar one milkshake like any other shop can not top! Not at all!
Homewards!
Now that's my little beaster!
He was still young back then and climbing trees was something very new to him!
He struggled a bit and I decided not to help for a great deal of time! He had to struggle and figure it out on his own! Hejust had to!
I eventually helped him out but the struggle was what I wanted! Helping him too fast was not in the question! At-least he seemed to enjoy it up there for a while!
A Bit Overboard?
Meh, maybe... I don't think so at all!
Not considering it in this way! It's less than a bottle for a month and this is going to be shared between at-least three people! So why not buy up and enjoy this for the rest of the year?
I mean we did look like some alcoholics back there when we bought this but ah well! We might very well be right? Who knows! But I do think I found some deep love for wine! Especially now a year later savoring all of this!
This was my favourite! My all time favourite!
We kept this stashed away for long and eventually ended up forgetting about it! Funny thing is we took it back to the seaside and only drank it a year later last December!
This was without a doubt a nice win when we discovered it again! A really nice win!
We had a blast with this down at the seaside!
