I hope it is still 90% silver, you still win that way! However, that thing is technically counterfeit and illegal to own so you may want to get it melted quickly if it's silver!

You can tell it's a fake pretty much at first glance though, it may look worn but it's not. It wasn't struck right and their are no bag marks like a real Morgan would have. Your instincts were right to check it out. I hate scammers...

        I'm hoping it's still 90% silver as well. I don't think they were trying to scam me. I'm guessing they thought it was real and threw it in or they knew it was fake but real silver, so weight is still weight. I'll find out soon enough. 🙂
