I think we all wish we had the Saint-Gauden coin! The Y500 is still nice though, though inflation is a killer to all currency. To think that gold coin was worth only $20...

Pretty mind blowing, isn't it? I'd like to think that if I had been around at the time I would have been getting and saving them, but then again, like everyone at the time I probably would have regarded having a gold coin in circulation as a normal thing and not really thought much about it.
