this is a lovely piece to end the bug art drawing challenge.
I love how you made the color black look like charcoal not that too jet black. Black could be tricky because it would be harder to add texture or details to it but you are good working with it

I wonder what is this creature? you poked my inquisitive mind Ky. It could become a nice character given its shape and that greena nd black color works well. I am thinking this could inspire a head dress design I love it. Congrats on your commitment to creating well done.

thank you! It was a near thing I was startingto crave other topics.

The bug is a type of tree hopper and I am very much tempted to use it for my dress up a bug. Though the fuzzy moths are also rather tempting.

And black is tricky to work with, the trick I use s never ever going fully black unless I'm doing carton style stuff, and often blacks are not truly black. Not sure if it held with the import but the black here is actually a really dark purple.
