Weedcash wasn’t mine anyway, I was just an admin and designer, not the founder. I tried like hell to promote it when I lived in a legal state and even outside with my own stoner friends and couldn’t get anyone to join.

I am not seeing any kind of bullish market movement going on here at all with Hive being at the price levels it is. There is constant selling pressure, and. Ow we are in the 300’s on the marketcap listing. I am bullish on Bitcoin, Monero, and a few others, but unfortunately not as bullish about Hive lately. We are too small of a community to be so incredibly fragmented. It’s kinda sad really.

I get it when your feeling down on something, nothing I write will change the emotions your going through. But...
What are the Web3 Social Media alternatives? I believe all decentralized chains are suppressed like Monero. Monero should be worth a lot more but the big players control everything. My guess is that we will see and influx of users during the bull run and making it easier to sign up is a necessity. For us non tech old guys Hive is complicated but like all things the more I use it the easier it gets.

LMAO Praying the Rosary daily over the last couple months has changed my life.

Bro, these feelings have been going for some time. For me crypto is not about the value against the dollar. That mindset is where the crypto space has failed.

The idea was to build a new economy, but people would rather hold it like a stock than actually use it because they want the dollar value to pump instead of using it as a peer to peer currency.

I don’t think the decentralized social media narrative is going to play out in the long run. We had the opportunity to push the narrative, but people still gravitate to Twitter and Facebook, even Hive users. I see way more activity there than I do here. But I am still here trying, even though I bitch about it, although that is started ing to wear thin on me. This being said by someone who has spent the last 5 years trying to build here and getting nowhere.

I gave up Twitter and Facebook but I hear you. Imagine, I crashed my iPhone, then my Mac and was caring for Mom, in short 10 months off Hive.
My most action communities were WeedCash and HashKings. I sign back on and all my assets there are gone or worthless. LOL
Even Gab has grown more than anything on Hive. Of course they appeal to the anti vax, Christian, and pro White communities. Personally, I think those communities influencers, if sold on Hive could be a big influence. These are the people that are debanked, demonitized and if/or when Odysee dies off, once again they will be looking for an online space.
My plan, once I am in a spot with fast/stable enough internet is to help educate and promote Hive to them. Of course I will be promoting your trading course too.
White nationalists are very active on Odysee wth the small time players having a few thousand followers and big time like Devon Stack, Black Pilled, has 23K followers. Eventually they will need a place to go and should be now interested in further monitization and curation of their content.
I can't help but be positive for the future of my people and other like minded individuals regardless of their race or religion.

I don’t really get into all that political stuff myself and not really down with a bunch of white nationalists. I live in an area with active klan and don’t really like any of those guys.

I am more on board with just free thinking freedom loving people. Don’t care what color race or creed.

Nor do I care of someone elses color, keep in mind I live in Central America. I speak Spanish more often than English on a daily basis. Though I do get a kick out of when I live in expat communites, the mostly Liberal expats mostly hang out with other whites.
My wife's friends are usually locals so my hang out is usually a 50/50 mix, though I do need my time with my people. Their color is irrelevant to me because it normally on mutual interest that we discuss stuff.
With that said, it is undeniable that there is a force that is forcing mass immigration into the entire Western World and it is making our countries unaffordable to live in.
Since the George Floyd riots, corporate Americas new hires have been 94% people of color. I believe the white populate still is around 60%, IMHO, this is totally an anti white movement lead by foreign controlling powers as most at the top are dual citizens with a foreign nation.
Our generations, Baby Boomers and older GenXers, are at fault and still afraid to speak up.
Imagine Miss Ireland being a black woman, impossible, yet Miss Ireland 2021 is a black woman from South Africa. SMH
I am vocal about this in public to, regardless of who is around me.
Some call me the N word, no not that one, the white N word for whites is Nazi and I wear it with pride but then again the Devil inverts the truth.

Oh I hear you. And yes, I have seen it in all kind of ways. It is an anti-white movement thing. The whole DEI movement is really insane. It’s just not something I focus on because I am trying to stay out of the whole corporate america thing myself.

I am not religious by any means and there are too many reasons to get into, lol. That’s a subject that is too much to unwrap here, lol.

LOL understood and I grew up between my families neighborhood Tavern and the Presbyterian church I left decades ago. I was a bunch of stuff in between, mostly athiest/agnostic. I am not here to preach. I found God again in 2018 and my Scot Presbyterian grandfather is rolling over in his grave knowing I am on my way to being a Roman Catholic. Keep in mind my mother is a Presbyterian from Belfast. The Church is a very touchy subject and more than half my family over there in Northern Ireland won't talk to me if I go to visit. We are living in crazy times.

Well, My bible thumping Church of Christ family still talks to me, lol. They preach at me all the time, and I listen, but I can also think for myself these days.

Edit: I say if it works for you, then cool! It just doesn't work for everyone.

Agreed and that is why I don't preach but I do let people know that works for me. It may not work for them at the moment but maybe in the future. Only the creator or as I know him, God knows.

Oh I have tried, and maybe what I need to find again, but I have a very logical mindset, and that doesn’t mix with the whole faith thing very well, lol. But I do listen and take in what others say, so at least I don’t shut it off.

My biggest switch, favoring Roman Catholicism, came when I found out about the apparitions of the Virgin Mary. The one that hit my logical mind was Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City circa 1531. The cloth with her image on cloth that disintegrates in 20 to 30 years is still there. It has been examined by many non-believers and converted the entire human sacrificing Aztecs to Catholicism in 10 years. I will eventually make content about it but that and Our Lady of Fatima, 70,000+ witnesses in 1917 plus the famous Padre Pio has me seeking Baptism into the Catholic Church.
That Church is so corrupt, the only way it can be saved is by the laity. The Vatican has way to many demons to be overcome by more corrupt "Holy Men".
To me the move is not just logical but spiritually guided as well.

Oh man, my family farm is 3 miles away from the Caritas of Birmingham, kinda doxxing myself with this, but it is well known by many Catholics as a place that "Mary" comes to visit. I know the family behind it and can tell you it's an absolute cult, lol. I went to school with one of the sons and he tried hard to get out and would talk to us about how it was just super corrupt and how the Catholic church is behind a lot of it. They have this whole commune thing going on and gatherings about once a year or so when "Mary" supposedly shows up. It's really only when they are running out of funds and need people to tithe, lol. One of the sons told me this directly. But you do you boo. I still don't buy into to all of it.
