I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 7 years now. One of the many benefits to having the multiple streams of regular income that I've created and built in my Hive Multi-Stream Passive-Income Machine over the past four years is that I have backups and redundancy, so even if certain income streams stop for some reason, my income continues. Things do get a bit challenging sometimes, but I always find a way to keep my income steams flowing.
The intense, coordinated attacks on Hive Engine and its nodes, have made transactions at times difficult or impossible, and as such they have been wrecking havoc with bots and payout scripts, and with it, some of my, and the Alive Tribe's, income streams. Aside from how unstable they make our own daily ALIVE-dividend payouts, other payout services have also been strongly impacted. One of the most notable examples of this is with BXT.
The usual daily HIVE payouts for staked BXT, and the daily BXT payouts for having liquidity in the SWAP.HIVE:BXT diesel/liquidity, stopped about a week ago, and have not as of yet been resumed. With the stopped payouts, the market price of BXT has dropped substantially (I've taken advantage of that to acquire more BXT), though knowing the project head, I'm sure that everything will be rectified at some point soon.
Given that my large stake of BXT is a major source for HIVE, these payout outages are definitely hitting my HIVE income pretty hard, which will make my HPUD powerups a bit smaller, though even with this notable drop in my HIVE income, my Hive Power, which just reached 14,000 the week before, 14,100 last week, and which will probably reach 14,200 before the end of this week, continues to accelerate in growth. The loss of my daily income from BXT has been somewhat compensated by other new sources of HIVE, such as an HP delegation to my friend, @bradleyarrow, and to our own @aliveandthriving, as well as the new daily HIVE payouts in the ALIVE dividends.
Not all recent income changes have been bad, however, as some other recent modifications have actually notably increased my income in certain areas, such as with certain diesel/liquidity pools. The shift from half SWAP.HIVE/half PWR payouts, to higher SWAP.HIVE payouts, but without PWR, did not apparently sit well with some liquidity providers, because since the change, my liquidity percentage in that pool has continued to rise, even though my shares and liquidity have not, which suggests that there have been some large removals of liquidity. My liquidity in the SWAP.HIVE:PWR pool now sits at 4.472% of the total pool liquidity, with my last two liquidity-reward payouts exceeding 1.29 SWAP.HIVE, so this pool has now become my most important source for daily SWAP.HIVE, even surpassing my daily payouts from my HP leases. That's pretty nifty, I must say!
Yesterday, Sunday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive-Blurt-We Are Alive Tribe tasks, quite late, by a little after 3PM, giving my attention first to some photography for my posts, and straining and blending coconut kefir. Given that I spent 3 hours in the morning getting the solar electrical system back on, as I did my best to get what I needed done, which just threw my whole day off, and put me way behind, I had no inspiration or motivation to do any other community/land work, so I collected some leftover food, and my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee from the fridge, and I headed back to the Flow House early, to relax and ease my way into my evening Hive-Blurt-We Are Alive Tribe tasks, to write and publish my October BPUD - BBHO Powerup Day - 910 BBHO Powered Up!, and to catch up on my Hive and Blurt notifications. I got everything done quite early again, around 8:30PM, and after watching more of the HiveFest10 replay, and some asset management, I went to bed very early again, around 10:15PM. I woke up about 6AM, having slept well, doing more asset management, going to make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, returning to the Flow House to write and publish My 177th Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update: 14,100 HP Surpassed, 14,200 HP This Week, and a Good Week Despite Income Loss, then to begin writing this post. It's now just after 12:45PM, so it's quite an excellent time to wrap this up, so that I may get to my other few important Hive-Blurt-We Are Alive Tribe tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to focus first on photography for my posts, then community/land work. 2025 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
