I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 7 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙

In my intrepid exploration of different blockchain ecosystems, there are four that have held my attention consistently since discovering them, Hive of course, Hive's sibling blockchain Blurt, Qortal, which is a whole other incredible can of worms, and Bastyon, which was my first social blockchain. Each of these blockchain ecosystems have various things in common, some notable differences, and they all are amazing in their own ways. As most of you know, Hive has gotten most of my focus, time, attention, and energy over the past 4+ years, though I am always exploring other blockchain frameworks as well, going more deeply into those that intrigue me, and finding ways to interconnect them together.

Hive-Divider-Green-Rounded-2.png

With the We Are Alive Tribe now being a cross-/multi-blockchain community, though getting things rolling on Blurt is going a bit more slowly than hoped I must say, it's my desire and intention to create a community base on Qortal and Bastyon as well in time, with Qortal being the most interesting and exciting. Qortal is a 100% community-driven, FOSS (Free and Open-Source), completely decentralized blockchain project that is building a whole new internet framework, especially with Reticulum, which is an entire hardware-and-frequency-agnostic network stack that can bridge many different network technologies together, now in the process of being integrated.

Hive-Divider-Green-Rounded-2.png

I mention Qortal in my posts from time to time, as I've been active in that growing decentralized blockhain ecosystem since September of 2023, and while it's being developed quite quickly now, and it's come a very long way in the time since I created my account, I still haven't made any real attempt yet to try to establish the We Are Alive Tribe there. The reason for this is twofold. One being that I think that it's a good idea to focus on getting our community established on one blockchain at a time, with Blurt being the first, so as not to spread ourselves to thinly. The other reason is that, although Qortal is quite incredible, it can also be somewhat chaotic at times, and the onboarding process still needs to be a bit smoother for the majority of people who aren't very tech savvy. Having said that, onboarding to Qortal is not particularly difficult, but the process is not not exactly self-explanatory or straightforward.

Hive-Divider-Green-Rounded-2.png

The best way to use Qortal is to run your own node, which gives full access to all features and functionality of the bloclchain. If that's not feasible, it's also possible to connect to Qortal using public nodes, which is how it's done by default on mobile phones. To be able to earn QORT daily, which is called minting, it's a bit more of an involved process that requires community review, but this step also is not very challenging, it just takes a little time. I just reached minter level 6, which took me over two years, since the earning tiers are time-based.

Qortal isn't perfect, it's under quite rapid community development, and it still has lots of rough edges, but it is an extraordinary blockchain that I think would be an excellent choice for establishing the We Are Alive Tribe. Thankfully groups can be created easily, either open and unencrypted, or closed and encrypted, so that would be a first step if and when we do decide to take an official step into the Qortal Blockchain Ecosystem. For those of you who are intrigued and interested in exploring and giving Qortal a try, I'd suggest beginning your journey at https://qortal.dev, which is the most up-to-date website. I would very much like to be able to interconnect Hive and Qortal, because I love and believe in the potential of both of them, and they both do different things wonderfully well.

Hive-Divider-Green-Rounded-2.png

Yesterday, Monday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, quite late, in part due to rain, by around 2:45PM, giving my attention first to some photography for my posts, on another rainy day. With that completed, I focused on putting the ethernet cable, that I had run from the Puppy House (and important network-juncture point) to the Flow House last week, into PVC conduit, to protect it, since it was just laid across the ground. I had to take a 10-minute break up at the Flow House, due to rain, but I completed my networking task quickly afterward. With that finally done, I did a quick round of chopping and dumping bad/used coconuts at the upper coco bar, and I tidied up the area a bit. Once I wrapped that up, I turned on the generator (you got to love rainy days), made myself some food in the new kitchen space, and with that and my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee in hands, I headed back to the Flow House to begin my evening Hive tasks. I got everything done by a little after 9PM, and after some asset management, I went to sleep a bit after 10:30PM. I woke up just before 7AM, having slept reasonably well, doing more asset management, going to make my superfood fire coffee on the new kitchen, then returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just before 1:15PM, so it's an excellent time to wrap this up, so that I may attend to my few other important Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to focus first on more photography for my posts, and then on community/land work. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's manifestation of these posts! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

2026 Life Goals

1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.

2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.

3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.

4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.

Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚✨🤙

This is our collaboratively shared Witness node between the We Are Alive Tribe, and @borniet's and my MMB (Maximum Mutual Benefit) Project, here to build something good for all of us! The higher in the witness ranking we go, the more that we'll be able to grow the We Are Alive Tribe, and the more that we'll be able to share with all of you!

Vote for @bradleyarrow's Witness Node!

Bradley's tenaciously committed and all-in on Hive for the long haul (just like me!), and the higher his witness goes in the ranking, the higher the weekly BBH and BBHO dividend payouts will be!

tydynrain, you mined 1.0 🟧 HBIT. If you'd replied to another Hive user, the HBIT would be split: 0.9 to you and 0.1 to them as a tip. When you mine HBIT, you're also playing the Wusang: Isle of Blaq game. 🏴‍☠️

Sorry, but you didn't find a bonus treasure token today. Try again tomorrow...they're out there! Your random number was 0.5108291833641323, also viewable in the Discord server, #hbit-wusang-log channel. | tools | wallet | discord | community | daily <><

Check for bonus treasure tokens by entering your username at a block explorer A, explorer B, or take a look at your wallet.
There is a treasure chest of bitcoin sats hidden in Wusang: Isle of Blaq. Happy treasure hunting! 😃 Read about Hivebits (HBIT) or read the story of Wusang: Isle of Blaq.

It's interesting what you mention about Qortal and its potential to establish the We Are Alive tribe.
Admittedly, developing blockchains present challenges, but they also offer unique opportunities.
