Yeah, several very important projects don't get funded. The whales run the show. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

I wonder if Hive has a prolonged shortage of (software) devs in general, because existing good projects oftentimes end unexpectedly, and apps in development take (too) long to launch. 🀯

savvyplayer, you mined 0.9 🟧 HBIT and the user you replied to (tydynrain) received 0.1 HBIT on your behalf as a tip. When you mine HBIT, you're also playing the Wusang: Isle of Blaq game. πŸ΄β€β˜ οΈ

Sorry, but you didn't find a bonus treasure token today. Try again tomorrow...they're out there! Your random number was 0.8822092140355943, also viewable in the Discord server, #hbit-wusang-log channel. | tools | wallet | discord | community | daily <><

Check for bonus treasure tokens by entering your username at a block explorer A, explorer B, or take a look at your wallet.
There is a treasure chest of bitcoin sats hidden in Wusang: Isle of Blaq. Happy treasure hunting! πŸ˜ƒ Read about Hivebits (HBIT) or read the story of Wusang: Isle of Blaq.

From what I hear, it's more of the uninspiring development environment on Hive, especially in the last 1-2 years. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

Perhaps software devs should look at Hive more as a censorship-resistant platform for their (d)apps, and less a source of income from their apps. πŸ§˜β€β™‚οΈ

Indeed, though I think being able to sustainably generate income is pretty important as well, however. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

That's true !INDEED, so I said on my previous comment that income should only be secondary for devs who build apps on top of Hive, not that revenue is not important. πŸ§˜β€β™‚οΈπŸ€“

There are some blockchain platforms which have social media features (such as Arweave) where people must pay tokens (not just something similar to Resource Credits that regenerate for free over time) to publish posts or comments there, and there is no way to earn directly from content there (while there are workarounds such as putting cryptocurrency wallet addresses there for donations). πŸ€” I would like to see Hive provide decentralized image (and other file type) hosting though (which the SPK network is already testing but has been taking quite a long time). πŸ€“

I have no idea why people use frameworks like that. It seems like far more hassle than it's worth to me. I can't wait for the SPK network either, and yes, it's been taking forever indeed. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™
