Well, the word 'lucid' and 'nightmare' are at opposite ends of the energetic spectrum, one being based in love, and the other in fear, so there are no lucid nightmares. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

I have seen many websites about dreams saying that the word "lucid" simply means "aware", not necessarily that the person is in control of the dream in the case of lucid dreams. 🤯🤓

Yes, lucid does mean aware, and in a very clear manner, which again, is the opposite of a fearful state. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

If you become aware that you're dreaming, then the dream can then be directed in any way desired. Basically fear lowers consciousness, so it's the opposite of awakening, wheher in night-time dreams, or in the dream that is life. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

They say that "lucid nightmares" are bad dreams where the person is aware that he/she is dreaming, but is not in control and he/she can't wake up (immediately). 😱🤯 Since you said that there are no "lucid nightmares", I wonder what you call such events (on my previous sentence). 🤯🤓

And it's fear that causes the inability to change the nightmare, which is a very different state than true lucid dreams, so I'd argue with the nomenclature. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

Some people say that they initially had control of some dreams (thus being a lucid dream) then losing control of it as it turns bad (thus becoming a nightmare), which is !WEIRD !INDEED. 🤯😅
