White-tailed deer have a huge range, as they were very common where I grew up in New Jersey too. Your place is a sanctuary for forest critters, my friend, that's pretty awesome! ๐๐๐โจ๐ค

We haven't heard cougars lately, but years ago when I was laying in bed with the windows open I could hear a cougar screeching!!๐
They sound like an old woman screaming it's rather eerie.......
Yikes! That would definitely make me jump out of bed fast! Sasquatches apparently have a similar high-pitched scream! ๐๐๐โจ๐ค

We do have that neon sign over top of our 5 acres that says all creatures are welcome......Lol!!!๐๐คฃ๐
