The wisdom of men cannot define the concept of God. Men cannot understand the things of God by their own reasoning. The Holy Spirit is the only one who can expound the things of God to us. The Bible has told us that it is the spirit of man which is in him that can understand the things of that man. This implies that it is the Holy Spirit alone that can reveal to us the things of God. So, we cannot understand God by using our human reasoning. God ways are foolishness to the natural man. So, it is by the spirit that we can know what is the things of God. So, when we see people who are well educated but then they have no insight of God and his word, we should not be bothered.
There is a veil which the enemy has placed on the faces of those who do not believe in the Lord Jesus Christ so that the Word of God is hidden from them. Their understanding is darkened towards the things of God. These people are looking into the word of God and it appears to them like a document which is sealed. The devil has covered their my minds from receiving the word of God. The Bible says that the things of God appear to them as foolishness. They do not understand the wisdom of God.
We are those who have received the grace of God to understand the mysteries of God. Our minds have been enlightened by God so that we can receive the things of God and understand them and value them. That is why we have given our hearts unto God. We believe his words and accept His doctrines. Salvation is our own. Those who possess the wisdom of this world has not the salvation of God because their hearts do not receive the things of God.
