I have two friends who retired before their 40s for reasons such as diabetes, hernia, visual impairment and so on. I don't know how right is this decision by gov as they are still capable of working.

        I get that some people can't work in their field and it is cruel and unusual in some way to make them do something far less. However, I really think a lot of the mental illness issues are not much of an issue, and more an excuse.
