Es un placer compartir una nueva aventura en el sector San Luis de Cumaná, ubicado en la Avenida Universidad, en la carretera que conecta con Puerto La Cruz. Este sector es conocido por sus hermosas playas, alrededor de las cuales se han construido clubes, hoteles, residencias, oficinas gubernamentales, instalaciones turísticas y otros negocios. El Club San Luis se encuentra cerca del sector Los Uveros, y su nombre proviene de la abundancia de uva de playa que se encuentra en esta zona. Como la mayoría de las playas de esta zona, cuenta con malecones y una cancha deportiva, y como se puede apreciar en las fotografías, una hermosa vista al mar. También se pueden observar los diversos edificios ubicados a lo largo de esta franja costera.
Visité la zona por la tarde, y aunque sabía que había uva de playa en esta área, me sorprendió la cantidad. Son de diferentes tamaños y sus ramas se inclinan hacia los lados, formando cómodos asientos para quienes visitan estas playas. Desde allí, pueden observar el paisaje o simplemente disfrutar de la brisa marina.

It's a pleasure to share a new adventure in the San Luis sector of Cumaná, located on Avenida Universidad, on the highway that connects to Puerto La Cruz. This sector is known for its beautiful beaches, around which clubs, hotels, residences, government offices, tourist facilities, and other businesses have been built. The San Luis Club is located near the Los Uveros sector, and its name comes from the abundance of sea grape trees (Uvero de Playa) found in this area. Like most beaches in this zone, it has walkways and a sports field, and as you can see in the photographs, a beautiful view of the sea. You can also appreciate the various buildings located along this coastal strip.
I visited in the afternoon, and although I knew that sea grape trees existed in this area, I was surprised by the number of them. They are of various sizes, and their branches bend to the sides, forming comfortable seats for those who visit these beaches. From there, they can observe the landscape or simply enjoy the beach breeze.
Cerca del club San Luis y su playa, ubicada detrás, hay varios bancos a lo largo del paseo marítimo donde se pueden alquilar sillas y sombrillas. También se ofrecen paseos en barco. Algo que me llamó la atención y que nunca antes había visto en esta playa fueron los paseos a caballo. Me impresionó ver dos caballos en la playa, y una amable señora me explicó que es una de las atracciones que ofrecen: paseos a caballo guiados por expertos equinos. La idea de ofrecer paseos a caballo me pareció muy interesante, ya que en esta zona suelen ofrecer paseos en bananas, botes , actividades deportivas como fútbol, voleibol, tenis y, a veces, fútbol playa, pero nunca paseos a caballo ni caminatas. Debe ser divertido recorrer la playa en estos simpáticos animales. Para realizar el paseo, hay que reservar el servicio con antelación, y se realiza a la hora acordada. Detrás del club, en el paseo marítimo, hay una valla publicitaria decorada con animales marinos como caballitos de mar, cangrejos y peces, adornada con algas, y con letras azules y blancas. Las sillas y los toldos se encuentran en distintas zonas cerca de la playa y bajo las plantas de overo. Las sillas son amarillas y verdes, y las cabañas son rectangulares, hechas de madera y ramas de palma.

Something that caught my attention and that I had never seen on this beach before were the horseback rides. I was impressed to see two horses on the beach, and a kind lady explained that it's one of the attractions they offer: horseback riding guided by equine experts. The idea of offering horseback rides seemed very interesting to me because in this area they usually offer banana boat rides and sports activities like soccer, volleyball, tennis, and sometimes beach soccer, but never horseback riding and walks. It must be fun to travel along the beach on these friendly animals. To take the ride, you have to request the service in advance, and the ride takes place at the corresponding time. Behind the club, there's a billboard located on the walkway, which is decorated with marine animals like seahorses, crabs, and fish, adorned with seaweed, and the letters are blue and white. The chairs and awnings are located in different areas near the beach and under the overo plants. The chairs are yellow and green, and the huts are rectangular, made of wood and palm branches.
