History has not yet forgotten the Igbo people who reside in the south eastern part of Nigeria, even after several attempts to break away from violence and allerged countless times of marginalization.
Yes, it's not something that's far from reality, but still, the future of Biafra seems very far from actualization.
Igbo people who are well known for their independence and self-esteem were denied of independence in the 1966 which later resulted to a bloody civil war which a peace deal was signed to bring coexistence within the country.
The three years of civil war resulted to more misunderstanding among the Igbo people and other big tribes found in Nigeria and also created ideas for younger seperstionist among the southern part of Nigeria.
Today, the visibility of these now-old seperstionists have cought the eyes of the public.

The story of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu of IPOB (Indigenous People Of Biafra) has lingered for a longer time, unlike the other groups who had wanted to separate from Nigeria. His aims and goals were solid which he has never deviated from nor taken bribe to stay off-grid. He has fought the freedom fight for over a decade and is willing to die for it.

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was arrested in Kenya on 18 June 2021 for terrorism charges, treasonable to Nigeria government, even though Kanu was lawfully in Kenya (as a British citizen) but the Kenyan government couldn't produce strong justification for his arrest under Kenyan law.
He was taken back to Nigeria from Kenya in order to continue his trial in Nigeria on charges including treasonable offences which was ongoing when the military invaded his house, destroyed lives and properties which resulted to his escape for safety.

His retrieval from Kenya resulted to long delay in judgement and at such, judges with good records backed down from handling his case, knowing fully well that Nigerian Secret Service violated his constitutional rights by showing no arrest warrant, no extradition hearing was held, and he was allegedly tortured while in custody.
Judging from how things have gone to bad with Nigeria system of rulership, Kanu predicted every single step to be taken by the corrupt politicians, the military and insecurity cause by bandits, and boko Haram.

Kanu's case has resulted to the loss in dignity of Nigeria's Constitution as well as the people's trust in High Court of Law to deliver credibility in their judgements.
The case of Kalu has brought so much shame to the extent that people no longer see kidnapping as a criminal case because, how can someone who was abduction, detained in Kenya, and forcefully retrieved back to Nigeria illegally and unconstitutionally to continue trial seem okay and sound?
Well, time shall tell.
Everything about this case is very unlawful and very wrong.
His charges were trashed out and dismissed which the high court also gave him bail, but the Secret Service denied him of this very constitutional right.
What!
Is he not a citizen of Nigeria or is his case very different from what others have done, even worse?
This is my opinion about Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's arrest and court case.
The entire process is faulty and floating. There's no reason for the charges and delay.
Thank for stopping by.
