We all grow up believing certain things about people, life, or the world. Some of those beliefs stay with us, while others completely fall apart when experience proves us wrong
So , what is the hardest belief or prejudice you've ever had to unlearn, and what made you change your mind?
That's a tough one. I have to think about it.
You should be done thinking by now hehe 😂
Two things: history and religion. Both were manipulated, and it took my quite a lot of time to learn. The society may call me a delinquent by now, for my rebellious nature. But yeah, I found the intital beliefs and teaching wrong; so I just read, researched and followed that pathway.
That's quite a journey. It takes courage to question beliefs you've grown up with. Looking back now, was there one particular discovery that made you realize your old beliefs could no longer hold up?
You cannot "question" because your ancestors have been following it for centuries. This questioning thing turned everything upside down for me, it was the beginning of my journey. Why accept something which does not seem right?

I feel that the questioning is healthy. The difficult part is knowing whether we're uncovering the truth or just replacing one belief with another

I have stopped believing anything blindly, I think we have created many delusional things to make ourselves comfortable. I realized it through experience.
I like that cos experience can definitely make us more cautious. But do you think it's possible to live without trusting anything at first, or do we all have to believe something before we can test it?
Hmm that's a serious question and I think I've had a lot of beliefs I'm unlearning, just don't remember most right now to say one is the hardest.
Totally fair, some of these are buried. Maybe easier this way, is there something you believe now that your younger self would be shocked to hear you say?
One I remember now is, the prejudice I'm unlearning is that all men are cheaters. I've come to understand that most people who say that are people who have somehow attracted only those kind of people to themselves.
They believe that so it happens like that for them.
Well, I have heard this too countless of times and people still say it till now that all men are cheater, but what I will just add to this is the you put your response in an interesting way
Yeah, I think there are many situations before cheating happened. People ignore that and go ahead to commit.
That's a good distinction. It reminds us that patterns matter but they shouldn't become excuse for the person who chose to cheat

However from what you said, doesn't it also put the blame on the person who got hurt instead of on the people who actually cheated? How do you tell the difference between someone who kept attracting the wrong people and someone who just had bad luck?
I wasn't trying to blame anyone, cheaters are always the ones to blame but most of those who got hurt must have seen the signs but ignored it.
Sure💯 red flags often make more sense in hindsight. The difficult part is knowing whether they were genuinely obvious or only became obvious after the betrayal
Yeah, I just pray for those in the situation already to be wiser and those are lucky not to experience it to be wise too.

It's the raining season here and something happened twice in the last few days.
The day I'll bring my umbrella with me, it won't rain.
The day I don't, I'll be stuck somewhere or go home all wet.
Now I just take my umbrella everyday, to avoid stories.

Although the movie is ambitious and in many details very good (e.g. the costumes, the CGI), the casting completely destroys the film. A black as Helena is a no go, in the very first scene a black rapper as bard? Only ridiculous. And in the next scene Elliot Page as a soldier, but such a female person is simply not plausible as soldier, it is a pure disgrace. Wokeness at it´s peak. How sad for this otherwise well made film.

Anyone using #Snapie from a #tablet in here? I would like to understand how you feel about it.
Me from my Samsung tablet. Using @keychain internal browser! Which has improved quite a lot over the newst updates from #android OS... and I thought the app was the problem... its the OS that sometimes does not understand how format or allow you to select certain things. And it past, that didn't work very well. But right now, is really working well.
On #iOS tablets works slightly less well in my opinion, but this is probably because of the iOS strick formating. Either way, works on both! Next will be to start using the new EVM version on the tablet too to check how this interacts with #EVM based websites.
You should try to submit it to the Discord channel so that the dev team is aware of it. I think Snapie is mainly developed by mantequilla soft.
I am in contact with both teams 😉 they know! :D
This is more me creating awareness for people that are not so aware of these.
By the way, you can probably try (if you want) the Beta version of Hive Keychain with EVM support, and test against EVM compatible chains, if you want. I have been testing it for ages now...

It looks like they have listed there, and it could be interesting to see if they monitor things correctly. It will mostly fail to be shown correctly, because I suspect they only look at transactions of specific accounts. So, if your game does not send transactions from a specific account you control, representing the activity of the game, this will likely not show any activity.
But some games it might be really nice... I am thinking about yours @shiftrox specifically for now, but there are a multitude of them that would apply. If you are interested on adding your game, let me know how the experience is in a post, so we can recommend it to other game developers.

Ya metí mi CV en vacantes de ventas y de front desk. Aunque no tenga la experiencia, pues quiero diversificar hacia otros ramos. Trabajar de todo un poco aquí y allá, en lo que encuentro algo mejor.
Me quedan dos alternativas. La primera, y en el que estoy inmersa desde hace 9 años... es la creación de contenido por las vías tradicionales (YouTube, Instagram, Tiktok).
El detalle es que eso es plan de largo plazo, y yo necesito ya un sueldo fijo por cuestiones de renta, servicios y comida.
La segunda es emprender un negocio de lo que sea mientras represente un flijo importante de efectivo. Pero para ello, debí haberme deshecho de todo producto del negocio anterior, cosa que no he hecho porque no le presté tanta atención por el tema del fallecimiento de mi abuela y el cambio de casa.
Este lunes tengo una entrevista de trabajo. A ver como me va.
Y acabo de recibir la llamada de uno de tantos cobratarios. Lo que sucede por haber sido prestanombres de mi abuela. Bueno, me toca estar lidiando con esto. En fin...😮💨

This is nothing more than wishful thinking. I wish this could happen but I know it is very hard to happen. At least while we have our current 20 overlords repeating the same mistakes over and over again.

Another issue is that, to this day, there are no so-called "light accounts"... With other coins, you can generate a wallet even offline, so users simply buy and store their coins; here on Hive, however, the user has to "dox" themselves to an account creation service...
That's a reason why I like to accumulate Account Tickets in my side-account @perfilbrasil. If someone contacts me privately requesting an account, I like to give to them requesting just a proof that they are going to use it, like another social media account of them with content.
I would love to think about it in that way, but 2.50 and 10 seem to be unrealistic now.

Any specific reason?
My parents only gave me tea..i only knew coffee when i was grown up. Took it couple of times in school to help me stay awake, but i will still sleep even after taking it.
I recently read that tea contains antioxidant as againt coffee that has caffeine.
I think as a kid no one is allowed to have coffee. I don't feel like staying awake when I'm drinking coffee. It doesn't work on me too, I'll sleep it off. I only drink because I'm addicted to it.

It recently dawned on me that I've been to just 4 out of the 36 states my country has, excluding my state of origin.
I won't call myself a traveller but I'm very much interested in visiting more states.

We have only four main provinves and one northern Gilgit and Kashmir, I have been to all except K-2 base camp and the Hunza Valley.
