Heartbroken - mini weekend run

Hi all,

Let me start by apologizing for the radio silence, last few weeks have been rough - but should had tried to keep you updated.

We had the ct-scan on the 22th of july, the outcome was twofold, yes the cancer is responding to the chemo - but only a little bit. With 4 more chemo’s to go the oncologist is heavily doubting it will be sufficient to undertake surgery. With also a max of 4 chemo’s time and options are running out, while it is not yet all set and done - it doesn’t look to good at the moment. Honestly I am struggling at the moment as I just fear losing my wife.

I tried to take some time today for myself, with a short break being what was possible as the kids are around and my wife was on bed. But… it felt good going outside for a bit!

Rather than running mindfully, I decided to just run at a pace that is manageble but slightly above what is comfortable at this moment (due to hardly having time to maintain my basis) but that will be back when there is more time again.

Once again, thank you for all your support

As long as there is life, faith must always remain intact! My prayers are with your family. Sending you a big hug.

God has the will 🙏

I'm sorry to hear this my friend.

You guys are all going through the toughest time possible as a family.

Maybe, just maybe, she is fighting against it on her own.. it sounds like she might be losing some of her spirit - in this case it might be okay, and allow the chemo to work better across the next couple of treatments.

I know it sounds like a load of bs, but miracles do happen sometimes, might as well be for you 🫶🏼
