Been a long time since I was able to go for a short run. Life is quite stressfull at the moment but got to stay positive and hopefull.

Last Tuesday my wife had her 4th chemo session. Since we had to go to hospital a few days earlier in the weekend as the side effects got more severe - it was no surprise that the bloodtest was not good. After a consultation we were allowed to proceed the chemo - rather than postponing it a week. This does mean that this week she is facing a rough week. But this also means we are due for CT scan next week and can expect the results the 29th - hopefully the tumor is responding to the chemo 🙏

Both my kids were with friends today after school so it was a short window to run. Despite I noticed the effect of the long break, it was very very nice to have 30 min me-time as that has been a while!

The weather has calmed down today after a few weeks of higher temperatures (30-39 C) today it was clouwdy and roughly 20C much better!

Hopefully I can find more time windows to go for a short run next few weeks as it really recharged my battery a bit!

Fingers crossed for the CT scan!

Glad to know you're hanging in there despite everything. Keep the battery "charge" high, have 2-3 runs a week at least. It sounds like the 30 minutes ones will do wonders 💪🏼

That sounds very challenging. OMG. All the best for the coming weeks and your whole Family! And keep up those me-time-runs. You will need them to gain some strength.

I hope everything goes genius, It's always good to take time for yourself
